An institution for underground dance music, CruCast have been the UK Bass scenes leading light since their foundation in 2017; one of the most well renowned dance music brands in the UK, CruCast have taken over stages at the likes of Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds Festival, Boomtown and Parklife, as well as selling out iconic venues across Europe including Amnesia, Ibiza and London’s Printworks.
With a roster of talent, curated from the scenes leading names, CruCast has developed artists such as Skepsis, Zero, Darkzy, Kanine, Bru-C and Window Kid and receive regular support from radio outlets including BBC Radio 1 and Radio 1Xtra, Rinse FM and Kiss FM.
CruCast’s ability to develop their artists has aided the transition into the mainstream, making their brand increasingly desirable to all upcoming artists and promoters, gaining attention from a much wider audience, online, across streaming platforms and, of course, in the dance.
Review: In a crowded scene, it's important for large scale label projects such as CruCast to focus on bringing new talent through the scene, keeping the more established artists on their toes whilst injecting new levels of diversity and creativity. We here see them introduce five acts, kicking off with Xeonz who presents his electric 'World', packed with melodic energy. MPH follows with his vibrant creation entitled 'Crash', alongside Mindstate, who joins forces with Cal for 'Work'. PZP then joins the party with the vocal heavy composition of 'On You', before the gritty sub rolls of Hoda's 'Broccoli Dub' finishes up the release with a dash of finesse.
