London-based drum & bass and jungle label Cult.ure was set up in 2018 by the one and only Shy FX. In 2019 the label re-released Shy FX’s seminal ragga-jungle anthem ‘Original Nuttah’ giving it the VIP treatment and re-naming it ‘Original Nuttah 25’ to celebrate 25 years of the track tearing up dancefloors globally. The B-side saw a raw and heavy remix from Chase & Status. Earlier on in the year Shy FX released a hefty 15-track album on Cult.ure named ‘Raggamuffin SoundTape’ which featured vocalists such as: D Double E, Lily Allen, MC Spyda, Maverick Sabre, Stamina MC and Sweetie Irie. In 2020, the label rolled out ‘Raggamuffin Reloaded’, a project which remixed eight ‘Raggamuffin SoundTape’ tracks. The release saw killer remixes from the likes of Skeptical, The Sauce, Potential Badboy, Bou, Kings Of The Rollers, S.P.Y and Breakage, and picked up ‘Best Album’ from the Drum&BassArena Awards 2020.
