105 BPM Review: There's little to tell about the identity of the producer (or producers) behind the Brother Edit project, as they are wisely keeping quiet to avoid a knock on the door from Her Majesty's finest. What we can tell you, though, is that this is a pretty darn tasty debut outing. It's a nicely varied affair, with the Brother from beyond showing an ability to work with both funk/soul style breakbeats (the head-nodding brilliance of superbly structured opener "Chains") and rolling, bass-heavy, kick-drum heavy 4/4 beat patterns. In the latter category, you'll find the bustling disco-funk roller "Right Now", the wide-eyed '80s soul-goes-house warmth of "Tonight" and superior (if needlessly sped-up) British reggae-funk makeover "Together".
