DOBH is an independent record label based in Berlin and Munich, Germany, founded in December 2020 during lockdown, by Daniela La Luz.
Our mission is to release high-quality music for every mood, from the dancefloor to the quieter moments of the day. We offer a variety of electronic music, including Techno, House, Ambient, Dub, Jazz, Folklore, Wave, Pop, and Classical Fusions. Beyond music, we host a radio show (#nomusiconadeadplanet on radio80k.de) and events that blend art and music.
While we enjoy fun and hedonism, the impending global climate catastrophe has made us peaceful activists.
As humans exploring the "Dimension Of Being Human," we see ourselves as inseparable from the whole. Culture and music connect us, and in times of climate change, we embrace the vibrant life on earth, celebrating art, science, clubs, concerts, podcasts, mixes, environmental love, education, health, spirituality, mysticism, and global solidarity.
We aim to draw attention to our fundamental human necessities and existence, advocating for equality, love, intersectional inclusion, climate and nature protection, and opposing racism, sexism, homophobia, ableism, classism, animal cruelty, misogyny, transphobia, speciesism, and environmental destruction. We believe in the goodness of humankind and the possibility of a fair and loving society, as evidenced by matriarchal studies and ancient Goddess cultures.
Our first release, "Coping Mechanisms (Electronic Meditation)," a VA Compilation with 12 tracks from artists like Vril, Daniela La Luz, United States Of Ameisia, Paramida, Herzel, Frieder Blume, Irakli, Olima, Natyra Elezi, ... received great international press, radio, and DJ reviews right away.
Danielas new album „System Reset (Still Based On Electricity)“ has also received great international press, radio, and DJ reviews, calling this album as one of Germanys best music or as Groove Mag rates it: „Essential Albums of April“
In 2021, Daniela La Luz, DOBH, and Nastasia organized a two-part fundraiser for Ukraine on radio80k.de, featuring a strong lineup including Adam Port, Steffi, Alinka, Sally C, and Massimiliano Pagliara and more.
