Review: Collecting 30 tracks spanning from 2011-2021, Dome Of Doom label founder Wylie Cable has put together Decade of Doom to reflect 10 years of a singular musical vision and the evolving sounds that come with it. Be it the dusty, chilled, sweet and laidback sounds of Nobody's jazzy instrumental "Sioux's Reign" or Kenny Segal's "Worlds To Run (VIP dub)", venture further into the label with the low slung drank of Alphafox & Gangster Boo's "Sauced Up" - to the far fetched beats of NastyNasty. With a touch of post-dubstep making it in through DJ Ride, to the heavy industrial beatmaking of Huxley Anne's "Nin", there's more positive flavours to be found in Daedelus's "Special Re: Quest" to some great percussive soundscapes in Ahee's exotic "HMU". A legendary multi-genre label that's impossible to pigeon-hole, Dome Of Doom celebrates 10 years with a thunderdrome of sounds. Temple of boom!

Review: Dome Of Doom continues down the path of Kenny Segal's sonic travelogue with a whole new set of Kenstrumental dubs! After two years busy with some alternative rap projects, Segal's solo return crackles with pop while dishing out a generous serving of new Kenstrumental versions. Featuring a collaboration with fellow Jefferson Park Boy Mike Parvizi (on "Corduroy Shorts") and a remix of Jamael Dean "Akamara, inside this butcher's-20 are other intros and interludes from projects like Ajai, BATH, and Segal's own PMP. Outside of that find some fresh broken down hollywood in "Jueles Trunk", woozy swoon in "Noncipher" to the cream grooves of "Slabs (dub)" and sprinklings of a DJ Shadow recipe in "Bless The Fire". Bon app.

Review: It was back in 2016 that Los Angeles producer Elusive first signed to California's Dome Of Doom label with the French Toasted album, with this latest LP following last year's Bonsai Tree (and Ambient Void on Alpha Pup Records). Filled to the brim with detuned, jazz-tipped and electro-soul vibes, Horizons takes in collaborations from trumpeter Josh Koslow in the new age soul-jazz of "Intuition" alongside some percussive, krautrock fusions in "Vague Emotions" feat Josh Howard live on bass and saxophonist Ian Roller. Finding a place somewhere between the music of Flying Lotus, Clark, Hudson Mohawke and Dorian Concept, Elusive's beats, crackles, pops and computer music are as twitched-out and melodic as they are leftfield and experimental. Let's call it jazz.

Review: It's time to dive into the unusual here as Dome Of Doom welcomes the unorthodox production styles of Bleep Bloop to the table for an eight track extravaganza. We begin with the raucous glitch-driven melodies of 'Hacker', before the twisted distortion of 'Paut U 2 Sleep' and trap-style dubstep hybrid sounds of 'F12' alongside Goon Des Garcons come into play. Next, Gary Paintin gets involved in the destructive synthesizer smashes of 'Out Here', followed by super crunchy sound design and halftime drum work of 'Paying Dues' and the super unpredictable rhythmic arrangements of 'No Roof', again featuring Gary Paintin. Finally the rumbling sub structures and electro screams of 'What Are You In The Dark' make way for eerie vocal pads and lethal big room chords of 'Cromatin Landscape' to see an end to proceedings. It's unusual and we love it!

Review: It's time to join the Dome of Doom crew for this one as they bring forward unto us, the latest album project from none other than Gnome Beats, an LA based producer who's incredibly smooth production style is gaining him quite the reputation. This project is made up of thirteen sumptuous originals, varying from the experimental clanks of 'Sleepless In Mojave' to the futuristic dance rhythms of 'Ai Kansha' alongside Kokoro Star and classic choppy hip hop flavours of 'Paradise Flip. There are a couple of clear standouts, including the bubbling electronic sounds of 'Firebird' and demonic harmonies of 'Odd Tropics' alongside Wylie Cable!
