Review: The summer might be coming to an end, but raving season is only just heating up and is set to stay at this refreshingly positive high for the foreseeable. Together is a great example of why as a crack team of new generation talents and serious OGs collide for this special Moondance collection. Updates and new retro flavours galore as the likes of Danny Byrd goes stunningly loco on Acen's 'Trip To The Moon', Benny Page tears Shades Of Rhythm a new one on 'Sound Of Eden' and Dope Ammo, DJ Rap and Jasmine Knight team up for the rush-inducing 'Together'. Elsewhere Ray Keith takes us back to his 96 'Dark Soldier' era with his recent breakbeat assault 'Back In The Day', hardcore heroes Liquid and Billy Bunter lock horns on the euphoric 'Dove Removal Machine' while rising ravesmiths Origin8 & Propa close the EP with an update on their swaggering, stabby breakbeat banger 'Massive'. Review: 2012/13: Dope Ammo fired off a whole load of rounds that are still set to kill five years later. Two remixes and two originals, all rewind: Dope Ammo's sixth reload round-up kicks us back to Levela's funk-flecked Ram-style twist of "Kill Bill", slaps us silly with Maji's Taxman-level warp-fest on "Roots & Future" and tickles us with Benny Page's swinging space-wobbler "Crazy". Finally Jaydan KOs us plain and simple with his perennially vicious take on "Cold Rock A Party". Almost five years old and still standing up to today's production muscle; no further is proof needed that Dope Ammo are ahead of their time. Get loaded.

Review: Classicality! Dope Ammo dig into the vaults for four seminal slabs of early 2000s rollage and politely request respectfully and suitably heavy remixes. First up are the recently revived G Dub, VIP'ing the heavens out of their 2005 dub of the sing-along anthem "Roots & Culture". Bladerunner follows with a beautiful jungle update on "Crazy" in the way only he knows how while Panik & M-Rode echo the epicity of their Top Cat remix with a similarly slappy-skanked twist on "Big Summer". Finally Muffler takes the Shorston-fronted "Better Believe" and gives it an Odyssey-era Drumsound & Bassline Smith style battering. Brutality!

Review: A collective formed from latter day Digital Soundboy Benny Page, Dope Ammo and Resinate, Goldstarr bring the ruckus with this release, plus bonus track "Funkadelic" for added fun. "Crazy" pairs a winding b-line with catchy cooing vocal, "Valley Of The Shadows" esque hollow echoing sound and firm, punchy drums. "Come Out To Play" urges us to do just that with souped up bassline, high octane energy and pounding Pendulum style drums setting the pace for the duration. Bonus card "Funkadelic" adds a sultry sexiness to the proceedings and rounds things off in style.
