Review: The Dread Or Dead banner has been flying strong over the course of 2023, with the year now starting the close off with their label position looking more secure than ever before. For this new four tracker, they have invited Myca$h inside for a unique collection of sub slaps, opening up with the underwater-sounding bass notation and steady-shaker action of 'Deadly' kicking the EP off in style. Next, 'Oh' delivers a heavily syncopated percussive feel over more otherworldly sub-designs, with 'So Many Feels' then providing an even swampier feeling as a follow up bop. Finally, we dive into a remix segment as Ghast lets fly a fiery amalgamation of hard hitting subs and uniquely layered drum thumps to close off the EP in a truly unique fashion.
