Pulchra - (4:09) 172 BPM
Review: Man like Kalane returns to Drippboiii with some heavyweight materials. 'Obsidian' has a real grunt and bite to the groove as it flings various shades of funky grit in our faces. This mood continues throughout the EP as more basslines growl and bark with menace. 'Skulls' bumps and chatters with pure venom while the unmistakable tones of Diligent Fingers roll out thoughtfully on top. 'Pulchra' finishes the set with more swaggering, stone cold funk. Savage collection. Turn on, tune in, Drip out.

Afterlife (feat Millsee) - (4:13) 87 BPM
Oblivion - (4:31) 87 BPM
Review: Next up on Drippyboiii Recordings, a very well thought out four tracker from none other than Scuro, a dubstep producer with a very potent style indeed. We open up this fiery collection with 'Ancients' a serious sublow bop, driven forward by both its tidy percussive arrangements and of course Kaisan T's smartly performed vocal addition, with 'Silverfish' following in a blaze of subby glory. Next, we turn up the tempo on 'Afterlife' as the neurotic synthesiser action sees Millsee deliver a cutting edge vocal addition, with the super stripped back drum work and powerful sub growls of 'Oblivion' then giving us a tasty closer. Top work!

Choices EP
Choices - (4:55) 172 BPM Hot
Trust No One (feat Joik) - (4:08) 174 BPM
Review: Kick a pooch, drink some hooch, crank up the volume and listen to Nooch, as old Grandpappy Juno used to say to us every Christmas. And so we did. First we drank to "Choices", a hair-raising, sub-heavy pounder laced with big breezy layers and a bassline that grizzles from here to New Zealand. "Trust No One" takes antics a little spicier with its choppy vocal cuts and big switch to the minimal sub/kick drum lead. Savage. Nooch is on some next level puppy shunting right here. Here's to you Grandpappy!

Review: One of Drippyboiii's most consistent and forward-thinking mainstay mandem, Aussie Tomix returns with a stunning and far-reaching quintent of sounds. Each cut tickles a different corner of the D&B underbelly from the S.P.Y-like chugger title track 'Soundboiii' to the finger clicking sternness and cosmos sweeping funk of 'When Inspired', this is the sound of Tomix in complete control with absolute clarity. Heavyweight 3am tackle.

Review: 20 cuts from some of the most exciting and forward-thinking new-gen artists in drum & bass... Drippyboiii are dripping in so much good stuff right about now they are literally crying crystals. Sparkles of soul shine in all directions as highlights range from rich soul and musicianship of Clu's 'Hibiscus' to the wilder, raw fire of Oli Lewis's 'A Raving Thing' and Addicted, Alex SLK and GLM's oil slick sleaze 'Steppin'. These are just three highlights from a huge collection that is all killer and absolutely no filler. Drippyboiii have been on it for some time now but this is a whole new level.

Stuka EP
Stuka - (4:37) 175 BPM
Artillery - (5:01) 175 BPM Hot
Review: Besides a collab with Teej in 2020 on Fokuz, little is known about Induction for now but with a debut EP sounding as crisp and heavy as this, it won't be long before formal introductions are made. Two cuts, both proper grizzlers; 'Stuka' is epic broadsword steppery with big sweeping Reese textures while Artillery is more of a creeper vibe, all low slung and twisted. Both executed perfectly, Drippyboiii have delivered once again.

Feel It - (4:34) 175 BPM
Gstar - (3:41) 178 BPM
Review: Man of the moment Joely jumps aboard the good ship Drippyboiii to help them celebrate their second birthday. Four tracks in total, each one grunts and flexes in its own unique way. 'Sectioned' questions your sanity by way of a very wonky bassline, 'Confused' takes the aggy factor to darker levels (plus a deliciously bulging sub) 'Feel It' adds a little sensuality in the vocal department while 'Gstar' finishes the EP on a gnarly early 2010s style jump-up vibe. Section this one off into your 'faves' collection. Big up Joely and the Drippy massive.

Mind Of A Madman (R3IDY remix) - (4:34) 175 BPM Hot
Review: Don't be fooled by his name: Komatose is alive, kicking and full of beans. This very generous EP is proof. 'Cyclic', the title track, instantly sets the pace with a dark, energetic sense of cosmic funk. It's backed by plenty more heat as he runs through the full range: 'Tidal' takes us even deeper into space with its full-charge sci-fi reeces and electro elements, 'Back To' is a big beefy number with steamroller bass licks while 'Aura' shows off his tense-but-soulful side. Wrapping up the EP, 'Mind Of A Madman' sees him linking up with Mouthy for a gnarlier showdown that's also remixed to great effect by R3IDY. Long may the cycles continue...

Rollers Rights - (5:39) 174 BPM Hot
Skull Crusher - (4:30) 174 BPM
Review: Drippyboiii become stickyboiii as Kumo comes round with a big sack of stinky stuff. Three tracks full, we kick off with a massive Teej collaboration - 'Keep The Faith'. Lighter raising murkery with lots of vocal textures and big clouds of smoke, it'll have you born again in seconds. Elsewhere 'Rollers Rights' takes us down a long dark tunnel and shows us the lighter at the end of it before the mighty 'Skull Crusher' comes along to spread romantic vibes for the ages. Roll up! Roll up!

Review: Following up releases on Strictly House And Garage and Ditto Music, next up on Midlands-based label drippyboii is S3 Dubs with a collection of deeply dark subterranean delights on the Better Go Home EP. It's clear that this is a strictly neurofunk affair, as heard on the murky opener "How You Like It", while "You Give Me" is the perfect soundtrack to the stoned ride home on the night bus. Elsewhere, "Swindle" incorporates grime influences into the mix, while the experimental and off-kilter beats of "Ducksweat" ends things on an interesting note.

Burning Flames - (4:29) 59 BPM
Review: Breaking through on labels like Dutty Bass, Audio Addict and Brawlin Beatz a few years back, Konz is really finding his groove on the ever-golden Drippyboiii right now with 'Baba Yaga' being his most comprehensive and forward-thinking EP to date. Loaded with off-kilter grooves and strange sounds, Konz reminds us that this ain't no cookie-cutter situation as the likes of 'Bun Hot' goes straight for the jugular with its eerie harmonics and stretches and 'Clap' (with fellow rising talent Joely) springs all about the gaff in a really dark and twisted way. Elsewhere Shaydee joins the fray on the title track 'Baba Yaga' as a bassline rumbles lower than the tone at a towny hen do before 'Burning Flames' flares up for a savage finale. Smoking.

Review: Following heavy releases from the likes of Tomix, Neman and Hickupz, Lincoln crew Drippyboiii level up once again with Rise Up; an 18-track knock-out VA collection from the very forefront of future talent. Highlights come in all shapes and sizes, forms and flavours including the hectic hype alarm 'Disparity' from Caramel, the rudeboy jungle bizness of Konz' 'Think It Over', the spatial slaps and alien bubbles of 'Around The World' from Nu:Temper, the endless grizzles and groans of 'Nick The Greek' from Brownson and the mad drum thumping drama of Placebo & Olly Riz's 'Clicks & Clacks'. But that's just a wee selection of the gully power on offer here. Check it and check into the future.

Hickupz & ESORO - "Shallow" (Neman remix) - (4:26) 176 BPM
Review: The minimal tones are out in full force on this one, as Hickupz is joined by several co-conspirators on Drippyboiii for a precisely engineered tour through drum & bass' clinical side. The title tune is almost liquid in style, as Professor Phattie injects some human soul into otherwise sparse, mechanical soundscapes. The Hickupz remix of 'Invasion' is the other highlight, a minimal track made perfect by the flurry of amens before the drop that act as a perfect counterweight to the spaciousness of the main section; a sub-focused roller that simply doesn't let up. That's the tone of this release and we love it.

Review: Precision skills here from Tomix as Drippyboiii continue to prove themselves an exciting force in the new-generation dnb movement. Following releases from the likes of Sematic and Neman comes this huge dispatch from Tomix and friends. Four originals and two remixes deep, highlights include the relentlessness and jungle swing on 'My Turn', the creepy, hype-tense 'Trigger' (with Posk) and Absolzte's far-out remix of 'Clockwork'. Time to turn up!

Review: This new cut from Drippyboiii Recordings is minimal filth, just how you like it. It brings in several artists onto the same EP, as Sematic forms the basis for features from Friskee and DJ Komatose, the former of whom absolutely slays the vocal line on 'Never Leave'. It's the Sematic remix of 'White Lies' that really stands out, as a haunting vocal line brings chills to the fore, before a sweeping minimal line walks a perfect balance of stripped back sounds and punchy, over the top frequencies. Big EP.

Neman & Olly Riz - "Game Plan" - (6:15) 175 BPM
Flutes - (4:31) 175 BPM
Review: Okay who ordered an 'Invasion' with their 2020? We've had most other atrocities so why not, eh? Especially if it comes with a soundtrack as grizzled and nasty as this. The title track hit likes a Ram banger 10 years ago, all scorching and snarling, while 'Game Plan' takes us down a wrigglier route with slinky sub rolls, amens on the fills and Olly Riz getting real on the bars. Finally 'Flutes' bids the invaders adieu with its gentle, soft-focus rising arpeggios and subtle dancefloor liquid drive. We don't know why the invaders left (maybe because they realised humans had already pillaged the world's resources) but with music like Neman's inspiring us, neither do we care. We're just happy to be vibing to beats like these. Keep your eyes on Drippyboiii, something interesting is happening here.

Posk - "Fresh Out" - (4:49) 175 BPM
Review: Drippyboiii is back and oh boy, this release is absolutely top notch. For anyone out there who likes their rollers dark and dirty yet precise and engineered with quality in mind, you'll be into this release. With three harsh tracks, this release is just bursting with quality and if we ran a label, we'd certainly be writing these names down for the future. The first track, 'Katana', from Caramel and Madrush MC, excels in its simplicity, with all the work being done in a simple yet devastating drum pattern and its relationship to top-notch bit of menacing MC work. The others follow this pattern: stunningly solid drums, fat basslines and arrangements rooted in simplicity, allowing the small details to shine, especially Neman's 'Land Of The Free', which packs a creative arrangement of fluttering jump stabs and drawn out bass notes. Naughty.
