Review: French label Drum Orange presents two newcomers with the type of high energy releases that send a dancefloor full of ravers crashing to their knees. First track "Snake Charmer" is Rouen-based DJ Panik's own concoction of neurofunk and jump-up upfront drum and bass, blasting bass and beats hard and heavy. No survivors expected. On the flip is a collaboration with DJ Yox. Taking it down to 140 and ramping up the dub, eastern-influenced vocals add a touch of mysteriousness before a ruthless drop breaks in and smashes the place to pieces. Be ready - this release is going to cause some disturbances.
