The Groove In You EP
Find A Place - (4:39) 172 BPM Hot
Multiverse - (4:49) 174 BPM
The Groove In You - (5:13) 174 BPM
Wonna No - (4:32) 172 BPM
Review: Everyone's favourite junglistic palindrome Martyn Nytram returns to Ray Keith's Dubplate Dread packing four absolutely despicable dancefloor bashers. Vibes range from the apocalyptic, head-twisting 'Multiverse' where you can feel the multiple worlds crumbling in front of your very eyes, to the jazzier reflections and shimmering vibes of 'The Groove In You' which has a bit of a late 90s Bristol/Talking Loud flavour to it. Elsewhere we've got the Benny L style bruiser 'Find A Place' and the absolutely hair-raising 'Wonna No'. Badness.

Review: To continue their run of good form, the Dubplate Dread team term for episode number 23, welcoming the explosive production skillset of Martyn Nytram, a heavyweight in the 170 zone, who provides a barrage of bass-driven power across 6 hard hitting originals. First up, 'For You Bradsta' combines rippling reesey crunches with junglist drum sets for a gnarly combination, followed by the lethal metallic drum stabs of ''Carn Tek It' and the more moody atmospheric backdrops of 'Feel Your Soul', a tasty switch up indeed. Next, more futuristic synthesis and angelic pad textures lead the way on 'Feels Good', before 'Take Control Again' let's fly an onslaught of swampy LFO drags. Finally, the title track 'Light Up The Dance' provides us with a euphoric stand off, fusing industrial drum sampling with big bass energy, closing off the project with a slap!

Review: Martyn Nytram - an artist so badass you can say his name backwards and forwards - makes his debut on Ray Keith's Dubplate Dread with this walloping seven track slab of heavyweight goodness. All dark by design and crafted solely to blow your wig off, highlights include the razor-wire tension on the title track 'Auroras' the deep tunnelling paranoia of 'For The Night' and the theatre of 'IT'. H2 woah billy boy, Martyn's on some serious juju right here.
