Review: Where once Whomadewho's records were fuelled by the club-rocking heaviness of punk-funk and post-punk disco, the Danish trio's output now has a much warmer and woozier feel. For proof check out seventh studio album Through The Walls, a masterful stroll through alternately lilting, loved up and quietly Balearic pastures. Shot through with glassy-eyed songs that variously draw influence from Low Life-era New Order, huggable synth-pop, enlightened indie-pop, Nils Frahm, Steve Moore, neo-folk and sunset-ready nu-disco drowsiness, it's a set that simply gets better with each successive listen. It may not boast oodles of club jams, but it provides fine listening from start to finish.

Review: The haunting vocals have always made 'I Don't Know' hard to ignore, so it's no surprise they still feature heavily throughout this remix EP. The 'Adana Twins' remix is stripped back, and simply stunning, the vocal has been manipulated in places to make a third focal point along with the soft 4/4 and prominent shaker. The 'Fur Coat' remix brings a minimal, echoing, drippy vibe with huge focus on the emptiness of the soundscape, it's a truly immersive version. The 'Margot' remix makes us feel like we're fleeing from a storm, it has a dark brooding overtone, but as low as they are the chord progression has a real uplifting vibe.
