Review: Caped disco-tech crusader Leonardo has been filling bags since his 2018 debut Origin EP that minted the rise of his Etheric label, now four releases strong with this 500 Years From Now/Evolution Of Heart EP. With a unique sense of being able to combine disco with a deeper techno sound of kosmische and '90s Chicago house, Leonardo take these influences furthest on "500 Years From Now" with a trippy excursion into the colder regions of the genre for a sweetly cool midnight groove. "Evolution Of Heart" then hits all those Italo sweet spots with big drums, tunnelling basslines and twinkling arpeggios. To infinity and beyond!
