Review: Toronto progressive house, trance and techno legend delivers Another Day In Paradise - a superb new LP of modular mechanics on his own Fall From Grace label. It marks the artist's first outing on the platform since 2017 and follows two other conceptual LP's that made it onto Glenn Morrison's meditation and chill space: Ambient Wave. For Another Day In Paradise, it's clear that the infinite world of modular defines the tone, with beatless tracks like "Down The Rabbithole" a prime example, next to more driven numbers where the kick drums really come through - ie: "Letting It Go", the edgier and stripped back, "Minimalism" and "Long Way Home Honey". Full of spiralling arpeggios and granular synthesis, there's a cosmos full of helixes, corkscrews and star sailing synths to be explored throughout - be it "Better Than This", "Lost Conversations" or the twinkles of "Another Day In Paradise".
