Review: Boris Brejcha, sometimes known as the Joker, unveils his highly anticipated 10th album, a monumental release on his own Fckng Serious label. With 17 tracks and 3 extended versions, this collection promises a captivating journey through Brejcha's musical evolution. Singles like "Level One," "Space X (Edit)," and "Vienna (Edit)" offer a taste of the album's diversity, while collaborations with vocalists like Malena Narvay and Leony provide this work with a unique depth and richness. Each number on offer here reflects the artist's unmistakable style he's garnered over the decades while still paying homage to his past works that Joker fans love. "Level One" - the stand out track - and in its album form, stands as a pivotal milestone for both Brejcha and Fckng Serious, blending contemporary sounds with nostalgic elements, taking his music and style into a new and exciting future!

Review: Over the past few years, Moritz Hofbauer has put out a series of EPs on Boris Brejcha's label. This stream of material culminates with his debut album, In A Blurry World. It sees Hofbauer blend trance, techno and minimal influences, with a focus on the dance floor throughout. The album starts with the title track's buzzing bass and tranced-out, icy synths. This theme also prevails on the epic "Nocturnal". On "Sleepless Mind" and "Oneironaut", Hofbauer opts for a darker approach as bursts of white noise are fused with ominous, throbbing basslines. "Time Of My Life" brings this approach to its logical conclusion, a seamless fusion of the melodic and the forceful.

Up Down Jumper
Up Down Jumper - (7:12) 125 BPM Hot
Keep Rollin - (8:00) 125 BPM
Review: Following a series of Eps on Ultra Music last year, Boris Brejcha returns to his own Fckng Serious label with this storming two-tracker. "Up Down Jumper" is a powerful track: based on a menacing bass, it sees Brejcha add in subtle snare rolls and a mysterious, building synth to create an ominous but effective arrangement. The German producer opts for a similar approach on "Keep Rollin"; instead of musical elements on this occasion, he chooses searing acid lines. Combined with a grainy low end and doubled-up claps, the end result is a compelling combination that is certain to be a staple of Brejcha's DJ sets.

Free Your Mind
Deniz Bul & Markus Volker - "Free Your Mind" - (7:46) 125 BPM
With You (Acid version) - (7:02) 125 BPM Hot
Review: Mannheim's Deniz Bul claims that as an artist, just playing music on stage is not all there is to it It's about feelings and giving people a good time. The Fcking Serious label staple returns to Boris Brejcha's imprint with more brooding and razor sharp tech house aimed squarely at afterhours dancefloors. He teams up with good buddy from the south of France Markus Volker on the seething back room dub of "Free Your Mind" which is the kind of minimal we just love - groovy, trippy and downright nasty. Bul then flies solo on the 303 express with "With You" (Acid version) where he lets the resonance and glide of that trusty little Roland box do all the talking.

TRIP
TRIP - (7:45) 130 BPM Hot
Calling It - (7:44) 128 BPM
Review: Southern German imprint Fckng Serious are back wih label staple Ann Clue, who serves up some moody tech house grooves on "TRIP". With its wonky, razor sharp bassline and tough as nails kicks - this one is perfect tackle for getting weird at the afterhours. This is backed by the warehouse techno banger "Calling It" which is perfect for those heads-down moments under the strobe light. Boris Brejcha & Co. have discovered an emerging talent in the form of Ms. Clue and her strident sounds. We very much look forward to what the Mannheim based producer has in store next.

Pi Persei - (6:18) 123 BPM
Theydream & Moondock - "Inertia" - (5:41) 124 BPM
Review: The latest release on Boris Brejcha's label is by two brothers from Switzerland. Although this pairing sounds like something out of a fairytale, don't be fooled, because Theydream clearly spend more time in an underground studio than skipping through the Alps. The title track is bolstered by a menacing bass that rises all the way through the arrangement, accompanied by a chilling but subtle siren riff. On "Pi Persei", the pair go deeper, but with a twist - their love of sub-sonic bass is still audible, this time supporting trance riffs and subtle back beats. The brothers' move towards the esoteric is completed on "Inertia", where they drop the tempo and allow waves of dreamy synths to wash over the groove.

Devil
Devil - (9:26) 125 BPM
The Darkest Night - (7:15) 125 BPM Hot
In The Middle Of Nowhere - (7:50) 125 BPM
Review: They say that the devil has got all the best tunes, but based on his latest release, Boris Brejcha could give him a serious run for his money. The title track is a pulsating, 303-led groove that ebbs and flows in intensity over the course of nearly ten minutes and gradually reaches a ravey climax. The German producer opts for what seems to begin with for a more stripped back sound on "The Darkest Night". However, it also increases in intensity thanks to a powerful bass, massive break downs and a ponderous vocal sample that intones its title. Last but by no means least is "In The Middle of Nowhere", which resounds to a malevolent bass and more menacing vocal tones.
