Review: Ferry Corsten's Flashover label has always been about discovering and pushing new talent. And here following in the path of the likes of Raphael Frost is young Russian Timur Shafiev. There has been an onslaught from Russian shores over the past few years ad with tracks like 'Incredible', Timur is sure to join that elite pack. Supported by, The single Original mix of 'Incredible' as been enough to enter the sets of; Above & Beyond, Marcus Schossow, Darren Tate, and The Thrillseekers.. with its crunchy beats, relentless rolling bassline and percussion rolls, and gently building synth leads all coming together to form a powerhouse of a track.
Review: Following a sell out Full on Ferry event in London on new years eve, Corsten wastes no time kicking off his label game for 2012 with the return of key talent Rafael Frost. Having been championed (and no doubt nurtured) by Ferry over the years, the young Dutchman's sound is everything Flashover is about. Euphoric, energetic, and flowing with an international tongue. The Original has everything you need for peaktime prominence, although where this really shines is Ferry's own cut, complete with rolling electro bass-line and blistering synth lines bringing an extra shot of adrenaline to proceedings.
