Fortunea Records is an independent elctronic music label that was founded in june 2014 by Klaus Benedek. Since its appearance it became a flagship for several electronic musicians and producers of the Viennese club scene.
Stylistically the label focuses on house music and all its sub genres. What you can't find on Fortunea releases is monotony. Every single/ep has a story to tell.
Review: Austrian imprint ForTunea has looked close to home for its latest release, snapping up a solid three-tracker from long-serving LuvShack contributor (and fellow Vienna resident) Jakobin. According to the label, all three cuts were inspired by "UK house of the '90s". That's certainly evident on opener 'Forever More', where bleep-style sub-bass and speed garage-ish organ bass combine with deep house drums, psychedelic acid lines and nods to the earliest British tech-house jams. '90 Days Off' sits somewhere between the tactile and loved-up chunkiness of vintage Toko Records releases and the more sci-fi sounding workouts of the Eukatech imprint, while 'One 4 All' is a lusciously loved-up, melodious and trance-inducing affair that may well be the EP's standout moment.
