Review: First out as a Japan-only release in 2007, GMI reissue the debut album from Los Hermanos, which is basically an Underground Resistance side project: members include UR's Gerald Mitchell, Esteban Adame, Santiago Salazar and (when this was recorded) DJ Rolando. Across the album's 13 tracks they delve into a dizzy array of styles, from 'traditional' Detroit vibes ('Night Owls', 'Remember Detroit') to drifty, dreamy late-night deep house ('Midnight In Madrid'), via funk-infused D&B ('Theme From Tony Dash'), freeform jazz ('Jazz Above Saturn'), Latin-inspired techno ('Dark Samba No 7') and more besides.
