Review: The team over at Goddezz have compiled a silky collection of smokey weapons with this latest 'Enchanted' compilation, exploring the more drum-driven side of the garage and house spectrum, featuring a number of very exciting names. These include the likes of Luxe, Baraka, Faff, Local Group, Mabel and more, all supplying us with some serious weaponry that is sure to dizzy dances across the country. Our highlights however, would have to firstly include the glittering beauty of Angel D'lite's arpeggio-driven masterclass in 'Cloud 96', followed by the original version of Luxe's 'Dance Enchantress', which fuses eras with extreme sonic precision. All 8 featured tracks, be them standalone or remix, pack an original punch on this one!
Review: Next up from the Goddezz team, we have a fantastic slice of the nostalgic new school, exploring hardcore and breakbeat influences with this latest single from Coco Bryce. The track itself takes the title 'Luv Ain EZ', combining shuttered rave-ready organ leads and colourful, percussively driven drum beats to give us a flavoursome throwback to a classic period of rave history. Those chords cut through the mix so cleanly and also work as a wicked lead melody, before moving on LMajor's jungle-inspired rethink, focussing much more-so on moogy bass leads and clean drum rhythms to take the track in a completely different direction. Fantastic work from all involved!
