Review: Gradient Audio return to their release schedule with a pair of serious heaters as they bring in the services of B1t Crunch3r and Section 8 for some demonic dubstep delight. We kick off on Section 8's 'Woke', a devilish composition, jam packed with heavyweight sub pressure and a tonne of growling reeses, making for a pleasing composition indeed. On the flip B1T Crunch3r comes through for a more specially textured design in 'Tiamat', driven by pulsating percussive patterns and roaring bass synth design. Dubstep is alive and well and if anything, in a more creative place than ever before!

Review: The long standing dubstep stronghold we know as Gradient Audio returns for another spicy bag of bass driven goodness. This two tracker comes courtesy of Trillbass & Clerks in dual collaborational compositions, bringing something fresh to the table. On the A-Side "Jabberwocky" is a gritty fireball, focussing on intense oscillating reese synths and crunchy drums. On the flip however we hear "Freedom" which is a more stripped back look at the classic standardized dubstep ideals. On this one we hear low lurking bass instruments growling away whilst airy eastern inspired melodies roam freely above.

Review: Kantyze is usually on some d&b tip when it comes to building bass bombs, but this new EP for Gradient Audio resides much further left on the hardcore spectrum; deep and barren dubstep vibes are out to bruise all corners of the dance! "Tell Them" is an ocean of twisted harmonies intertwined with heavy, disparate half-steps, while "Hammerhead" takes more inspiration from the footwork game with its rattling blocks of percussion. "Ethnic Sounds" is a dreamy glow of glitchy beats and digi chimes, which leaves "Lights Go Out" to offer a little ambient comfort thanks to a sublime landscape of sparse sounds.
