Review: Previously spotted on Exert, rising Belgian talent Lixed lays down two slabs of concentrated dancefloor diesel for his Gradient debut. 'Flashback' can only be described as hyper-grot thanks to its ultra-twisted slimy one-shot croaks and stabs. 'High Up', meanwhile, applies more turbo dancefloor energy as we flip between a Timewarp style bassline and a Twisted Individual one in true dynamic style. Flashy.

Review: Possibly one of the most misleading names in the game... The only thing erroneous about Master Error is his alias. This man is on point and has been for some years now. This EP is a perfect case in point: a generous grot fest that shoots more lasers and has more muscle than the US army. Highlights include the sassy soul of 'Don't Want You', the walloping set-opener 'Breakthrough', the already massive 'Lakota' (with Toxinate) and the brute force 'Raw Flavour'. Bonus points for such a misleading title, too. Master Error isn't just breaking through, he's an established part of the new generation! Masterful.

Review: Holy moly, Amplify isn't messing around here. Hell, he never was but 'Machine' is by far his most accomplished and sickest body of work so far. Nearing album level in its consistency, weight and concept, each cut adds another layer of intensity with dark matter funk and big juicy riff energy. Highlights include the absolute fatness and stern-but-playful vibes of 'Warmed Up', the gurning gully croaks and groans of 'Skrewface' and Fatman D's slaying on 'You Better Move'. Start the engine.
