Review: Within the world of bassline, it's no stretch to say that these are two of the artists really leading the game. On this brand new single entitled 'Takeover' we hear Holy Goof team up with the infamous sounds of Flava D for a bassy belter, consisting of pulsating synthesis and solid drum work. This one is designed to bring the ravers out in any dance, and to be honest we struggle to see it failing!

Review: Holy Goof winds up his most successful, high profile year to date with another superb collabo on his HG Music imprint. This time tagging up with fellow Bristol basssmith Notion, the vibe fusion is right on point as the pair bring out the funk in each other. "Be Mine" slaps with a house feel as harmonic swoon and sweep in the background while a UK funky style percussion and steel drums develop throughout. "Harder" takes us up a gear with more of a groaning bass-focused jam. Stripped back but constantly evolving with additional bars from Face, it's an instant floor-filler. No goofing around with this one.

Review: All eyes on rising Nottingham bassline badman Holy Goof right now. Recently tipped as one to watch by UKF, his stamp-happy, groove-heavy 4x4 cuts are ticking all the right bass boxes. Including this next level club jam. Fusing subtle old school rave elements in the hook with a twisted, murky harmonic bass riff, this has got 'festival damager' sprayed all over it. The eyes have it.

Review: With all the big 4x4 bass thumpers spinning his wares (My Nu Leng, DJ Q, Flava D etc), Holy Goof continues to shred up the low end scene with his trademark sledgehammer funk. Utilising a sharp shard of Six By Six lyric on gaps that count, Goof's bassline warps with treacle-like weight and shape with just the right amount of funk. Heads down.
