Review: Horns & Hoofs wants to unite lovers of psychedelic techno worldwide, and Day Dreaming sounds like it will help the Spanish label to achieve this mission. The title track is a bass-heavy, tranced out track that is reminiscent of early Mathew Jonson material. On "Smoked Clouds", Chen Oz ventures back further in time for inspiration, with the evocative melodies of Eye Q trance fused with a teased out groove. "Space Catcher" is more contemporary sounding, as a bouncy rhythm underpins celebratory bleeps, while "Candy Mind" is somewhat darker. Centred on nickel plated percussion and moody tones, it is redolent of the more ominous side of 90s hardcore.
