Review: In 2010, Paul C and Paolo Martini teamed up to create music that has since appeared on several labels including Hot Creations, Moon Harbour, Elrow, Get Physical, Saved, and Snatch! Their productions have gained recognition from leading DJs such as Marco Carola, Matthias Tanzmann, Paco Osuna, Steve Lawler, and Jamie Jones. Their latest release on Hottrax showcases their ability to craft groove-heavy house music. "Whew" leads with off-kilter basslines and mind-bending percussion. "Killer Loop" delivers infectious rhythms and soulful vocals. "Shinids" closes the EP with soaring effects and hard-hitting drums. This release is a testament to their skill as producers, and is not to be missed.

Review: Hottrax chief Jamie Jones drops the landmark 100th release on his beloved label with the Save Myself EP. The title track is proper, tough rolling main room tech house with an infectious vocal refrain, followed by the stomping peak time tool "Moroccan Mint" and the moody rhythms of "Piano Wax" - just wait for that epic chord progression! Finally, Jones revisits the minimal techno sound he cemented his reputation on back in the mid noughties on vocal number "Sleepless Love".

Review: Following up some great releases on Kaluki, Circus and Solid Grooves, British DJ/producer Wheats returns to Hottrax with his latest offering - the Another Level EP. There is some tripped-out and rolling tech house for the main room to be enjoyed on this one, as heard on "Iz It Done?", as well as some druggy afterhours vibes on the minimal stomp of "Chrome Visuals", to stomping main room tackle as heard on "N Down" and another peak time slammer in the form of "Control" which goes out all guns blazing in 'Rominimal' style.

Review: Following releases on Kaluki, Circus, Solid Grooves and of course Toolroom Trax, British producer Wheats returns to Jamie Jones' Hottrax with Another Planet EP. Heads down minimal tech house is served up once again, best heard on the intoxicating opener "Humanic" a tough rolling and tripped-out cut aimed squarely at the afterhours dancefloor, and featuring Medusa's stylish vocal delivery. He pumps up the adrenaline levels for the main room at peak time with the jacking "Drive" (again featuring Medusa's singing talents) and closing it out with the stripped back groove dynamics of "Insomnia".

Review: After appearing on Loulou Records, Too Many Rules and most importantly Hot Creations, Frenchman Malik Chelihi steps up to its sister imprint Hottrax with three bumping tracks on the Subway EP. Across the EP, Malikk showcases his ability to create energetic and effective tech house, with his distinct use of effected vocal chops and visceral percussion being heavily on display. From the bass heavy bounce of the title track which is aimed squarely at the afterhours dancefloor, there's more minimal funk for you on the pounding percolator drum jack of "Do Dat Dat" and the druggy heads-down roller "Paco" closing out this fine effort.

Review: Said to be inspired by a life affirming DJ set from Hottrax label boss Jamie Jones in 2018, Clacton based Jamie Fielding set out to purchase his own set of decks and production equipment the very next day. With that in mind, there's no doubt that Fielding's debut on his idol's label is an early milestone in his ascendant career. The bass driven and tripped-out minimal funk of "Mind 3" is perfect tackle for getting weird at the afterhours, while a collaboration with buddy Daley G presents itself in the form of "It's A Vibe". Closing it out is the stripped-back stomper "Work It" which is perfect for those heads down moments on the dancefloor.

Review: Jamie Jones presents a killer release up next on his Hottrax label courtesy of Federico Ambrosi, who serves up some dubby tech house with The White Isle in mind on the 'Conscious' EP. Although he's been releasing music for the best part of a decade, the last couple of years have been incredible for the Italian producer - having made appearances on Repopulate Mars, Paul's Boutique, NONSTOP, Stereo Productions, Relief and Sola.The title track is tough rolling and bass-driven thumper that will hypnotise the dancefloor into submission. He then gets on a druggy, minimal and totally afterhours vibe on the wonky "Analize"

Review: Earlier in the year, Jamie Jones decided to give Josh Hvaal his big break via an impressive debut EP on Hot Creations. A few months on, the 24-year-old, Derby-based producer is back with a bang, this time on the popular label's more underground Hottrax offshoot. He bhits the ground running with "What Ya Need", a bounding techno number laden with squelchy synth bass, crispy cymbals, tough drums, echoing vocal samples and cannily crafted tease-and-release breakdowns. "Come Again" is a little more retro-futurist in tone, with Hvaal adding retro-futurist Chicago house style bass and pitched-up, ghetto-house style vocal snippets to a jacking techno rhythm.

Review: British DJ/producer David 'Wheats' Wheatcroft received early support from the legendary Kerri Chandler, who signed the ascendant youngster's debut on MadTech. Since then he's gone on to release on labels like Kaluki, Saved, Circus and VIVa. Jamie Jones was another major artist who supported him early on, and proudly presents his latest offering on Hottrax with a pair of wonky productions that see him in fine form. "You Know '' is a deep down and dirty expression in a minimal tech house that's perfect for getting weird at the afterhours, while "What You Do" is aimed squarely at the main room at peak time - a tough rolling banger!

Review: Hot Creations sub label Hottrax welcomes the return of house specialist David Berrie with two fresh hardware jams tipped with Latin-inspired percussion, dub, spiralling Italo and acid house ("MC Blasta"). Review: Originating from the Istanbul electronic music scene, Zurich-based Onur Ozman adds to his busy schedule of releases this year by debuting on Jamie Jones' Hottrax. Having previously released on Constant Circles, Sincopat and Kwench Records, Ozman brings his delicate and emotive production to the forefront for these three originals on the At Spoerri's EP. From the bittersweet and evocative title track, the tough rolling main room bounce of "KMIYH" and the emotive off-kilter electro of "Warhol". As a bonus, Amsterdam based duo ANOTR deliver a remix of the title track, and while these guys may be Dutch they sure know how to nail that timeless UK tech house sound.

Review: East End Dubs is one of the true heroes of the minimal techno underground, taking the best of classic UK tech house and the burgeoning sounds of 'Rominimal' as heard on his respected Eastenderz and Social vinyl only imprints. You can certainly count us surprised then that his latest offering come via Jamie Jones' Hottrax, but rest assured he hasn't compromised on his sound at all. Matter of fact, he sounds right at home. He debuts with a full release featuring three cuts on 'Rhythm 494', featuring the tough rolling and functional 303 jack of "Acid Roll", the heads-down hypnotic swing action of "Black Light" or the trippy shenanigans of the title track which is perfect tackle for that Fuse London afterhours session.

Review: Jamie Jones returns to his Hottrax imprint for a various artists release. Named after his respected Ibiza party series, Paradise marks the Hot Creations founder's first original solo material since launching the label in 2013. Joining him are three respected producers. Jones kicks things off with the intoxicating bass-heavy bounce of "Under My Control", Finland's Kiki follows up an appearance on Exploited with the dub inflected tech house of "ALT:TUDE", heavyweight Parisian POPOF (Mindshake/MOOD) gets groovy on "Nowhere 2 Go" and Spanish artist Rafa Barrios, who's recently released on Sola and Stereo Productions presents "Lawless" which is aimed squarely at the mainroom dancefloor with that massive drop.
