Review: Hottrax is Jamie Jones' operation that caters to more direct and and functional dancefloor tackle, as opposed to the sunny tech-house catered for on his much lauded Hot Creations. For its next installment, he's tapped Signor Federico Grazzini. The Italian DJ (who is now based in party island Ibiza) follows up releases on Decay, Avotre and Monza Ibiza with the moody and melodic dancefloor drama of "Gonna Get It" featuring an undeniable Carl Craig influence - always a good thing! This is followed by the chugging yet emotive energy of "Purple Fur".

Review: Caernarfon, Cymru meets Cali, Colombia as Jamie Jones teams up with Harvy Valencia (real name Jhon Valencia Harvy) for a two-tracker on Hottrax, the Hot Creations subsidiary dedicated to "showcasing the darker side of the dancefloor". The two tracks they've come up with between them sit most comfortably under the tech-house banner, but 'Electric Mama' has echoes, too, of the dark tribal sound of the early 00s (think Sondos, Fluential, etc) and is the pick to these ears, while 'Kwik-E' has the twitch-glitchy microsounds of minimal, but also a playground vocal and the jagged, attitude-y strut of post-punk and indie-dance.

Review: Berlin-based Swiss producer David Keno is a veteran DJ, with tracks on heavyweight labels such as Relief, Toolroom, Suara and Noir. Aside from getting props on an international level, he also launched his successful Keno Records imprint in 2007 which has since seen over fifty releases. His new release on Jamie Jone's Hottrax features the jacking, swing-fuelled main room bounce of "WTF", while "Faceblind" gets on a Tronik House vibe of old, complete with hoover bassline - this one was absolutely sick!

Review: Spanish producer Cuartero is back with his second release on another Jamie Jones imprint - this time the ever reliable Hottrax! With recent appearances on labels like Edible, What NxT, Beste Freunde - and of course Hot Creations - he kicks out the jams on his new stomper "Balaba" - a hypnotic minimal house number that is reminiscent of Berlin legends like Cab Drivers and DJ Honesty. With its boompty groove and swing-fuelled rhythms, this one is absolutely infectious! Second offering "Come On Closer" is more pumping and aimed squarely at the main room dancefloor: here's a tough rolling thriller in the vein of current UK tech house that would mix well with the label's last effort by East End Dubs.

Review: Madrid native Alvaro AM releases on Hottrax Records after releases on MOOD, Material and more recently Loco Dice's Desolat. He appears here on Jamie Jones' always reliable imprint with two original productions that are purpose built for the dancefloor "Rhythm Breaker" continues in establishing his reputation as a fresh and captivating producer. The driving and functional peak time groove is optimised for main room devastation, with its rolling bassline and tight swing fuelled drums. Next offering "Elastic" shows more restraint but believe us it doesn't at all let up on the groove side of things! With its low slung bass, tight drums and glitch effects for added pizazz: this druggy little menace is a perfect DJ tool for downtime until you launch back into the harder stuff. Alvaro AM's tracks have received support from industry heavyweights like Marco Carola, Paco Osuna and Nicole Moudaber.

Review: Next up on Jamie Jones' diffusion imprint are Vibe Killers: born and bred in the heart of Lancashire, the North West double-act have formed a formidable bond together consisting of 20 years worth of blood, sweat and tears.. and straight up house music! Having accomplished releases on such respected labels as Knee Deep In Sound, Elrow, Sola, Material and many more, the stock of this sibling pair is one that continues to bubble over the surface much to everyone's delight. Their new killer "Violator" is exactly the kind of groove you'd expect to be up to standard on this imprint - and it absolutely reeks of White Isle debauchery! Full adrenaline with its rolling groove, druggy vibe and on-point functionality. Second offering "The Situation" take it up a few notches higher with this funky, swing fuelled and downright bumpin' groove that bridges the gap between the main room tech house sounds of now and '90s style Chicago house.

Review: As one half of White Brothers alongside his brother, Francesco Bianco has released on high calibre labels like Little Helpers, Moan and Deeperfect, and performed across Europe and the UK. Now stepping out on his own as Aiuko - he makes an explosive debut on the ever reliable Hottrax run by Jamie Jones. Bianco is in fine form, boshing out some tough rolling and hypnotic UK style tech house on the thriller "Culture" which calls to mind the sounds of London imprints such as Fuse or Meta. Second offering "Choke" continues on with the druggy, bass-driven vibe with plenty of swing and is sure to go down a treat at the afterhours.

Review: New Yorker's Jesse Calosso and Jean Pierre have released across top labels between them such as Cuttin' Headz, Tuskegee, Defected and Desolat. They team up again for some funked-up and tough tech house for Jamie Jones' always reliable Hottrax, which follows up some brilliant releases of late by Alex Dimou, My Cat Snoop and Paco Wegmann. The uptempo "Feel Good" and its rapid-fire funk bass drives the groove along just nicely, as does "Mad Dawg" but this one is more deep and low slung - quite perfect for that Brooklyn afterhours vibe.

Review: Not content just releasing surefire grooves on Relief, Unknown To The Unknown, Edible and their highly popular W&O Street Tracks - British duo Waze & Odyssey get stuck straight in for their new effort on Hottrax. "Shape" will entrance you with its sublime melody, airy pads and steady rhythms on this evocative and highly engineered production. It offers up something a bit different from Jamie Jones' label of late - well known for its no nonsense tough rolling grooves of the darker variety. A remix comes from fellow Londoners No Rules (Tommy Boy/Future State) who deliver a swinging and tripped-out minimal house rendition that's perfect for the afterhours.

Review: Ascendant Russian DJ/producer Yulia Niko learned the ropes while living in New York City, where she was a resident at the city's renowned Verboten parties, before moving to techno mecca Berlin a year ago - where she runs her newly inaugurated Tocho Techno imprint. Add to that releases on top labels such as Get Physical, Subliminal, Nervous and this new one on Jamie Jones' Hottrax -and it's yet more evidence that she's in the prime of her career. She merges the best aspects of acid house and early noughties west coast tribal on the deep groove of "Cheap Story" while the absolutely thumping "Not For Everyone" is a perfect DJ tool for late night hypnotism under the strobe light.

Review: Earlier in the year, Jamie Jones decided to give Josh Hvaal his big break via an impressive debut EP on Hot Creations. A few months on, the 24-year-old, Derby-based producer is back with a bang, this time on the popular label's more underground Hottrax offshoot. He bhits the ground running with "What Ya Need", a bounding techno number laden with squelchy synth bass, crispy cymbals, tough drums, echoing vocal samples and cannily crafted tease-and-release breakdowns. "Come Again" is a little more retro-futurist in tone, with Hvaal adding retro-futurist Chicago house style bass and pitched-up, ghetto-house style vocal snippets to a jacking techno rhythm.

Review: Hot Creations sub label Hottrax welcomes the return of house specialist David Berrie with two fresh hardware jams tipped with Latin-inspired percussion, dub, spiralling Italo and acid house ("MC Blasta"). Review: Co-founder of the Polar Noise label, Paul C, is a legend of the scene now for the past 15 years playing clubs the world over and releasing music with Hot Creations, Terminal M and Peppermint Jam, to name a few. He now arrives on Jamie Jones and Lee Foss Hottrax label with two bonafide underground club burners; the bassline-centric and dubby techno attitudes of "Coney Island" alongside a more tribalistic and cruising tech house number that is "Combination". Review: British DJ/producer David 'Wheats' Wheatcroft received early support from the legendary Kerri Chandler, who signed the ascendant youngster's debut on MadTech. Since then he's gone on to release on labels like Kaluki, Saved, Circus and VIVa. Jamie Jones was another major artist who supported him early on, and proudly presents his latest offering on Hottrax with a pair of wonky productions that see him in fine form. "You Know '' is a deep down and dirty expression in a minimal tech house that's perfect for getting weird at the afterhours, while "What You Do" is aimed squarely at the main room at peak time - a tough rolling banger!

Although he's been releasing music for the best part of a decade, the last couple of years have been incredible for the Italian producer - having made appearances on Repopulate Mars, Paul's Boutique, NONSTOP, Stereo Productions, Relief and Sola.The title track is tough rolling and bass-driven thumper that will hypnotise the dancefloor into submission. He then gets on a druggy, minimal and totally afterhours vibe on the wonky "Analize"
