Review: Following the release of their debut album, Temple of Dreams, Bedouin have commissioned a series of remixes. The same level detail that the duo imbued in the original material is also audible on these remixes. LP Giobbi's take on "Medieval" unfolds to dubbed out drums and a gentle, shuffling rhythm, but it's all about the subtle melodic flourishes and gentle neo-classical piano keys that run through this version. In contrast, the Catz 'n Dogz version of "Crazy" goes for the dance floor. Led by a driving bass, sharp percussion and discordant synth builds, it manages to retain vocalist Iveta Mukuchyan's tones without missing a beat.

Now Human By Default is putting out remixes of key tracks from the long player. First up is Damian Lazarus, with a reshape of "Voices In My Head". Integrating the original version's chants into a swirling, deep house groove, the Crosstown Rebels boss delivers an esoteric take that is sure to stand out. Vintage Culture's remix of "Tijuana" is more upfront. While retaining Bedouin's mysterious melodies, he factors in an insistent minimal house rhythm. It makes for a captivating but club-friendly combination.
