Review: Nottingham-based newcomer Duplicate might be fresh on the scene but that just makes that crisp production sound all the sweeter. Lush, winding bass rolls between the shake and rattle of finely-tuned percussion while lush vocal and synth snippets crash in from above. And that's just the first track. "Careless Remains" pushes a darker, exotic vibe with airy atmospherics and big, dubby bass, while "Infinity" takes care of business in more traditional stepper style. Final track "Bleak" is more of those impressive atmospheric scene-setting vibes, adding a sense of time and place to beats and rhythms. He's got style, we'll give him that.
