Review: Almost a decade after the label stopped releasing singles, Ianus71 returned earlier this year with a compilation of "timeless" gems from their small but perfectly formed back catalogue. This speedy sequel tidies up the rest of the story, showcasing vintage cuts from the imprint's small roster of artists, including founders System of Survival. There's plenty to set the pulse racing throughout, from the shuffling, sub-heavy UKG/tech-house fusion of System of Survival's 'Conquistadores' and the tipsy horns of Autre's sturdy 'Mismo', to the intoxicating tribal house hedonism of 'Avvocata' by Doslive, and the pleasingly dreamy dancefloor swell of Jose De Vina and Javi Murdok's fine rework of System of Survival's luscious 'Italia 90'.
