Walk In The Rain - (3:40) 53 BPM
Time Flies (Pablo Dread remix) - (3:16) 130 BPM
Review: Next up from the Iberian Juke imprint, another high energy footwork display as we see a fiery display put forward from Broken Lip for the 'Fuck Summer' EP. We open up with some jungle infusion as 'Time Flies' takes a pair of classic drum breaks and sends them into the shredder, topped with a hoarse vocal that takes it to a totally different level of euphoria. Next, the shuffling hi-hat runs and luscious vocal sampling of 'Shelter' gives us a much more emotional backdrop, before we dive into industrial soundscaping at its very best, with the sweeping synthetic harmonies of 'Walk In The Rain' taking us down a different path entirely. Finally, Pablo Dread arrives to deliver a dancefloor ready rethink of 'Time Flies', topped with big room piano leads and a darkened bridge to keep the ravers on their toes, before leaping head first back into a jittery masterclass of breaksy drum tumbles and booming bass pulses to match.

Is Faster Than You
Everything Is About Me - (4:06) 107 BPM
Heavee Floor - (3:34) 107 BPM
Slow Tachyon - (3:34) 80 BPM
Theorema Of Acceleration (interlude) - (1:15) 159 BPM
Take Me Hiiigher - (4:00) 107 BPM
Foot Foot Foot Foot Head - (2:28) 159 BPM
Review: Spanish juke at its deepest and most immersive; QL2 (aka Qleeph) lays down six track slabs of hypnotic fractured gold right here on Iberian Juke. "Everything Is About Me" ignites the EP on a wavy, warped flex before we're hurled deep down the broken rabbit hole with a whole array of trippy delights; the militant overlays and sudden drop into choral bliss on "Heavee Floor", the ghetto slurs and squiggles of "Slow Techyon" and the cosmic spirals and F1 blurs of "Theroma Of Acceleration" all set the scene for the finale hoorahs... "Take Me Hiiigher" lives up to its name thanks to its sensual female vocal while "Foot Foot Foot Foot Head" throws us high up in the Ayer for a spot of sunshine. Sublime.

EtheraEver
Ether - (4:12) 150 BPM
Bobby McBerry - (4:24) 150 BPM
Braqueberry & ETM - "Ether" (ETM remix) - (3:56) 103 BPM Hot
Braqueberry & Daniel 2000 - "Bobby McBerry" (Daniel 2000 remix) - (5:39) 121 BPM
Review: Nobody knows what a Braqueberry tastes like. Nobody has ever seen one. But boy do we know what one sounds like; wily, loose limbed, slightly melted and warped and coated in a ghetto coat of armour. Part juke, part tech, part bass, all party, the follow up to last year's album Chorro 100s comes with two originals and two remixes; "Ether" is an explosion of ravey riffs all bubbling and melting in a juke pot while "Bobby McBerry" gets all fidgety, jittering and romantic. Meanwhile on the remixes ETM adds a little classic hardcore piano magic while Daniel 2000 tones down the tempo and ups the chugging factor. All killer, all thriller, no vanilla...

Review: Aside from killing it on the artwork front, the Iberian Juke label has established itself as one of the leaders in the footwork game. There isn't much that label has released which we haven't gotten excited about, so this new compilation feels like one of those mega-packs which we'll blast out on the speakers over the next few weeks. Believe us, with the quantity of music going through our charts, that is quite an unbelievable achievement for any label. Rather than try to unpack the entire comp for you, and actually risk spoiling the fun, we simply got to say that this is one of the most diverse juke releases we've ever heard. The genre can suffer from isolations at times, risking to sound rather uniform, but this gear touches many different points of heat spots for us. There's everything from jazz to techno in there, all blended into a delicious cocktail of fast-paced percussion bundles and high-tech drum swings. We highly recommend this thang...

Nuevas Bulerias
Una Buleria - (4:43) 80 BPM Hot
Una Vez Sone - (3:16) 80 BPM
Luce En Tu Cara Morena - (2:36) 80 BPM
Se Va El Invierno - (2:51) 80 BPM
Una Vez Sone (BSN Posse remix) - (3:45) 80 BPM
Luce En Tu Cara Morena (Nikes remix) - (3:48) 85 BPM
Review: From the same crew who gave us "Benidorm Sexting", Ria Ekin springs into step with another unique footwork fusion. Melting down Iberian traditional instrumentation and vocals over some of the darkest beats and trap rhythms this side of the law, tracks like "Una Buleria" and "Una Vez Sone" tear your head off with their twisted dynamics while cuts like "Se Va El Invierno" ride a much sleazier, smokier trap trip. Remix-wise junglists should get straight on the Nikes remix of "Luce En Tu Cara Morena" while the BSN Posse provide for those who love a real graveyard dark-out to their sounds. We know we do.
