Review: The In:flux Audio crew have been delivering top quality music for a long time now, 10 years to be precise, and what better way to celebrate than to bring back a number of their heaviest hitters for a fiery collection. Featuring a truly outstanding roster, with the likes of Dr Oscillator, RDubz, Dystinkt, Pelikann and more, this is a great showcasing of what the In:flux sound has represented over the years. Despite being a vibrant collection from top to bottom, two tracks stand out immediately, with the liquified synthesiser swipes of Fork And Knife's 'Jank' and the gnarly, mechanical bass design of Tik&Borrow's 'Kharon' both being real flag flyers. What an achievement!

Sable (Saraphim remix) - (5:08) 140 BPM
Review: The In:flux crew have smashed their first Tik&Borrow drop of the year out of the park, giving us four monuments of steppers-infused heat, perfect for the late night raving crew. We begin with 'Sable', a glittering gallop through tidy synthetic backdrops and dithering delays, with the title track 'Revolution' then following with a much more traditionally stripped back, subby feel! From here, the breaks-infused percussive chops of 'Avril' give the EP a slightly more unique feel as we hear bitcrushed snares lead the way, closing off the tracklisting with the marvellous manipulations of Saraphim, delivering a murky overhaul to 'Sable', drawing the project to a weighty close!

In The Dark EP
In The Dark (original mix) - (4:11) 140 BPM
Settle (original mix) - (4:13) 140 BPM Hot
Last Time (original mix) - (4:12) 140 BPM
In The Dark (Qwirk remix) - (4:33) 140 BPM
Review: We have another tasty helping of sonic sweetness from the In:flux Audio crew here as they welcome back the explosive flavours of 1point5, who unleashes four tracks of pure heat for us to enjoy. The introduction sees 'In The Dark' arrive, a smartly designed amalgamation of euphoric vocal presses, sticky synthesiser bubbles and spacey drum processing, before the more mystic melodies and stripped back drum designs of 'Settle' take us down a more magical avenue. From here, 'Last Time' pulls together a dizzying combination of blippy synthesiser hops and industrial guitar sweeps for a more metallic overhaul, before finishing the project off in the remix corner. We see Qwirk take up the mantle with his powerful overhaul of 'In The Dark', a gnarly rethink of the title track that gives the EP a nice final dash of spice.

Turn EP

Pass (original mix) - (2:47) 140 BPM
Pass (Tik&Borrow remix) - (3:46) 140 BPM Hot
Review: We have always loved the versatility of labels such as In:flux Audio, a heavyweight imprint that has consistently delivered a vibrant blend of bass, garage, grime and dubstep over the many years of their activity. This time around we move into the realms of the latter as J. Kong unleashes a weighty three track collection, kicking off with the potent bassline drones and aquatic synthetic designs of 'Set', giving us a real sub-buster to begin with, with a soundscape reminiscent of Loefah's classic 'Disko Rekah'. Next, 'Pass' fuses minimalist drum structures with a constantly shifting percussive backdrop, working in alarm-like melodies and a grizzly bassline below for a very unique original. Finally, the ever-dependable Tik&Borrow give a more dungeon-esc feel to 'Pass' with their official remix, adding the final touches to a wicked new collection from the In:flux Audio team.

Defendor (original mix) - (4:23) 145 BPM
Defendor (No Remorse remix) - (4:17) 140 BPM
Defendor (Tik&Borrow remix) - (4:30) 145 BPM
Review: It's been a brief minute since we last saw the In:Flux Audio team in action, but it seems as though their time in waiting has not been wasted, with this monstrous display from SHVA giving us some potent industrial heat. We open up with the woofer-busting bassline drones of 'Solid Ground', which drifts between gnarly, growling synthesizer swipes and minimal sub crunches, all below a thick landscape of intricate percussive taps. Next to this the dizzying synthesizer pulses of 'Defendor' give us another precise creation, focussing on unpredictable atmospheric pulses and cleverly worked reverbs, before diving into the remixes. First up, No Remorse sends 'Defendor' to the chopper, unleashing a chomping synthesizer line throughout the heart of his remix, before label owners let loose an abstract rethink of the same track, giving us delicately arranged percussive melodies to send the stems somewhere completely different. Amazing stuff!
