Review: The majority of Deepbass' output has come on the Informa imprint, and while he's usually taken care of things on his own, this time he's got Reggy Van Oers alongside him to share the tenebrous techno offering these dudes usually push. Deepbass is on the A-side with the juggernaut and title track "Symbosis", a cut where the 4/4 beat pushes the vast range of sonics into outer into hyperspace, a world made of grey-scaled echoes and mind-bending pads. Van Oers features on the flip with the mean lean of "Tunnel Dweller", another stripped back affair, but this time featuring a heavy, booming bunch of kicks and airy background atmospherics. Techno tools for the Berghain aficionados.
