Review: German deep house duo Ji-Hun Kim and Julian Braun aka Kim Brown are back with Wisdom Is A Dancer, their second album following up 2013's rather well received Somewhere Else It's Going To Be Good. Featuring nine cuts of soulful and emotive US influenced house, covered in just the right amount of dust; the perfect soundtrack for a misspent youth in Berlin this Summer. Highlights include the sexy late night bump and shuffle of "Optionism", the feel-good and pop inflected Rhodes workout of "Transparent", the beautifully beatless and drifting journey that is "Unperfect Circles" and the very Berlin indeed closer "Datasette (Vougue As Concept)" which despite its name isn't at all ballroom, rather: a typically rusty, hip hop inspired house production in the vein of locals Glenn Astro and Max Graef.
