Review: LPZ are said to be a collective of producers originally from Paraguay but based in London and Berlin, respectively. It's darkside, Drexciyan derived electro on "The Jupiter Menace" by LPZ with its mysterious sci-fi atmosphere, low-end heavy rhythm and and razor sharp bass ticking all the right boxes; check this out! Robert O's "Stabdub1" does exactly what it says on the cover on this stomping dub techno workout; some killer dub chords on this one! P. Lopez & Octavio's "ICE" is a real highlight on here; a unique effort that sits somewhere between electro and techno with its snarling arpeggio and broken 808 beat amidst a wash of white noise. Finally LPZ is back with more dark and futurist electro, with a nod to the work of Carl Finlow this time, on "Bridges".
