Review: While he's made contributions to numerous split EPs and compilations, Bautista Toniolo has yet to release many solo sets. This expansive seven-track mini-album for La Juanita therefore provides the Buenos Aries-based producer with a solid platform to showcase his wares. He grasps the opportunity with both hands, first unfurling a colourful and synth-heavy fusion of good-time house and retro-futurist ni-disco ('Diagonal Disk'), before variously doffing a cap to Bobby Orlando (the brilliant 'Elegance'), serving up vocal nu-disco excellence ('Get Ahead'), diving into sun-splashed Balearic nu-disco waters ('Park Of Love', the Reverso 68-esque 'One More Sunset'), and delivering his take on immersive, sunrise-ready nu-disco bliss ('Summer In Your Eyes').
