Review: "Stay" marks Kort's second appearance on Lapsus Music, the fast-rising label of Italian producer Supernova. The track itself is something of a beauty, with poignant string sweeps, subtle pianos and faintly threatening low register electronics tumbling over a sharp deep house groove. The real star attraction, though, is UK-based singer Reno KA, whose heart-aching vocal adds a touch of melancholia to an otherwise fairly upbeat production. Supernova handles remix duties, opting for a version that sits somewhere between hypnotic tech-house and sparkling, piano laden soulful house. It's a more straight up floor-filler than the A-side, but still retains Reno Ka's fragile vocal and just a whisper of Kort's evocative strings.

Review: With a title like Back To 92, there can be little doubt about Kaily and Blandy's intentions on this first collaborative EP for Lapsus Music. The "Warehouse Mix" of the title track is particularly potent, sounding as it does like a big room house fusion of Adonis's "No Way Back" (the bassline/main riff is almost identical) and dancefloor-igniting, rave era piano riffs. Cera Alba's remix of the same track inserts a little Sound Factory style shuffle and booming bass to proceedings, with the resultant rework sounding like the kind of thing Junior Vasquez used to champion. The EP's other track, "How Long", is a woozy and percussive jaunt into late night tech-house territory.

Review: Hot on the heels of their collaboration with vocalist Ann Saunderson, the other half of Detroit producer Kevin, Lapsus owners Supernova veer back into deep, pensive house. "Suite 58" achieves that rare feat of combining tough tribal house with musical elements. The track's piano is so mournful and ethereal it would make the Cocteau Twins sound like gabba-loving hooligans, but the combination of warbling bass and heavy drums ensures it'll work on the dance floor. Tiger Stripes makes the original sound even clubbier and it builds up to a buzzing bass climax as it accompanies the ethereal melodies. The tracky, filtered "Hang on Time" - remixed here by Luna City Express - completes the package.
