Review: Liquicity proudly presents Voyage 1, a journey into the heart of the music that makes this crowd tick, courtesy of some of their favourite players. First up to share their delights is Champion and as "What I Need" takes off hard into the stratosphere after a strong intro featuring powerful vocals and souped-up synths he sets his sights on becoming D&B royalty. Fracus & Darwin roll up next, driving "Succeed" forward with lyrics from Mark Slammer and restrained percussion and pads fighting it out in a tight space of experimental production. It's a real mid-release treat. "Closer" acts as respite as Hugh Hardie plays with inspiring samples, retro sounds and soaring strings. Finally, Feint slams some serious dancefloor vibes into the mix, stabbing those synths and dropping the chorus hard. It's a right old mixture, you'll love it.

Review: T & Sugah are on fire! This Dutch duo is one of the most promising acts on the Liquicity roster and this first release of the year tells us why. Liquid dance floor vibes are the order of the day right from the start after an epic build up and already the summer sounds are pouring in through "Higher". "What Will It Take" on the other hand is the hard-rolling B-side and it's another side to the pair's dancefloor creativity. As a final signoff, LAOS remix "Green Valleys" making it smoother and more beautiful than ever before. Keep your eyes on these guys.

Review: Fresher than a mojito-flavoured slushy and tighter than your summer short-shorts, Maduk's latest remixes are a breath of summery lushness under the guise of two powerful late night club anthems. Misun's "Eli Eli" uses tastily unique vocals to best effect with big, lazy bass and a rock and roll-tinted guitar lick to lift the 170bpm rollout. Low5 and T:Base get the Maduk treatment too for the soaringly beautiful "Rollercoaster", taking strings and Jess' soulful vocals to new levels of summertime heights. Essential listening.

Review: Your mid-summer soundtrack has arrived. Released by one of the biggest tastemaker channels, NCT have had a sharp increase in activity since the world got wise to their stadium-huge sound, and use of big diva vocals to mass-dance-inducing effects. "Freedom" features those big vocals from Charlotte Haining and rolls hard and bright, like all good anthems should. "Your Love" warms up the flip, rolling smooth and fuss-free with dinky keys and a tight, loved-up feeling. Who said drum and bass couldn't be romantic?

Review: Liquicity Records is a Dutch drum & bass label run by Maris Goudzwaard that deals specifically in deep and ethereal jungle with a commercial edge. The label is also renowned for its mix series, the latest of which is the present Alchemy. There's twelve diverse and wonderful tunes on here, the kind of d&b you hear on being played on the radio these days. "Regrets" by Fliwo is particularly alluring thanks to its luscious, seductive vocals.

Review: They say that music is truly international now, and they are right - this new release by Estonian producer Futuristik sounds like it was made in a big Los Angeles studio. "Waterbourne" features walls of trancey synths, flourish-heavy RnB beats and heavily compressed EDM production. With big radio-friendly vocals by Miyoki this tune is primed to smash the charts. "Feeling This Way" however, boasts sugary vocals courtesy of Charlotte Haining and fuses tropical house with super light, fruity DnB production. Pop-dance gold.

Review: Fresh from kicking off a dust storm the size of Utrecht at Liquicity's summer festival, Bristol bassman Phaction makes his debut on their label with two of his jazziest cuts to date. "Unified Theory" slinks and slides with skippy beats, floating vocal refrains and a bassline so low hanging it needs new holes in its belt. "Ever Present", meanwhile, is a finger-clicking space-soul dreamboat that will guarantees dancefloor transcendence. Following his CIA EP, these cuts confirm that Phaction is having a banger of a year. Radar business!

Review: Liquicity is Maduk's Netherlands-based liquid leviathan, a platform which celebrates music that puts your arms in the hair and a smile on your face. It's all about the happy vibes and the warm sounds. Their latest VA EP is, accordingly, in that vein and it's a corker, with 8 tracks of sumptuous liquid from the likes of Makoto, Telomic and Polygon, all of which are remixes. The best is Telomic's reinvention of Pola & Bryson's 'Whisper To Me' featuring Sammie Bella, which has a delightfully crisp percussive underpinning and an equally joyous bassline, all of which sit just beneath Sammie's idyllic vocals.
