Review: Expect to pay witness to something rather different here from Liquid Brilliants as Light Of Night present the Graceful album. Jumping straight in and taking no prisoners, "Feels Like A Bass" is a cacophony of crackling drums and eerie instrumentals with a weird, minimal intro and ending. Elsewhere, the experimentalism continues with the lush, mellifluous tones of "Be Mine", the delicate gentleness of "Anybody & Ever" and the precise enunciation and guitar strumming of "Take A Star From My Hands (Feat. Smartmade)".

Review: Isaac Maya strips things back, presenting a delightfully dubbed out couple of tracks which match the roots of D+B with contemporary bass music on the first release in Liquid Brilliants new Dubwise Brilliants series. First of all, "Walk Away From Love" is a gorgeous, lilting riddim with reggae vocal setting the pace and setting the style for the duration, intricately weaving the narrative around some stomping drum beats and murmuring bass with some shimmying trumpets and plenty of soulful flavour. "Serious Thing" goes in on a slightly harder, more dancefloor driven tip with punchy drums and grinding bass.

Review: Liquid Brilliants can always be relied upon to deliver the slightly more unusual takes on the so-called liquid funk sub-genre of D&B, and this release from Marcio Mouse is no exception. "Always" introduces us to his sound with a quirky blend of shimmying guitar, pounding percussion and lilting melodies, whilst "Blue Sky" is a more vocal-driven piece with murmuring subs and airy pads. "Mind Games" has a heavy edge but underneath it it's all swirling instrumentals and pattering breaks and then concluding cut "Live For Love" is a soul-infected piece of loveliness.

Review: Expect a nice, mellifluous range of flavours across this six-track EP from Liquid Brilliants. Getting the party started is I Wannabe with "Moonlight Spirit" - a lush, laid back piece with piano chords and crackling beats; then we move through Vortex Involute's "The Test" with its uplifting rush and Subranger's punchy "Gravity" with its terse drums and shimmering melodies. I Refuse enchants us with "High Flight" and Part Affair subdues the euphoria with the hypnotic "Aurora" before Ras Aderz wraps things up with "Suspendido En El Tiempo".

Review: Expect lush, liquid rolling vibes from Kelle & Juha in this sparkling, super sharp release on Liquid Brilliants. Providing both an original and dub mix as part of the package, this has it all. "Barricade" is all cooing vocals courtesy of Olka, paired with gently pattering, percussive breaks and sweeping atmospherics. Lilting melodies dance delicately around the murmuring bassline in a delicious swell of sound. If you like your D&B sexy and sultry, then this one is most definitely for you - think Marky and S.P.Y with a dash of Technicolour & Komatic, and you're there.

Review: Kelle & Juha sock it to us with this release on Liquid Brilliants. Title track "Warszawa" builds from a gentle, breezy instrumental intro into a hands-in-the-air main room banger with pumping bass, rolling breaks and a swooning vocal cooing in the background. All the while the pair manage to withhold the lush, laid back palette of sounds they established at the start. "Ursus" is a slightly tougher incarnation, with tough, terse beats, spaced out atmospherics and a stripped back edge, which is somehow tinged with melancholy. A tidy release here.

Review: Expect sonorous, vocal-led laidback D&B here from Eavesdrop on Liquid Brilliants. Kicking off this three-track EP is the delectable "Backlight (feat Keshia)" which pairs a lustrous, crooning vocal with gentle, rolling drums and sumptuous bassline, plus clinking piano keys and oodles of soul. Next is the equally as enticing, chilled out "I Don't Know" with its easy percussive quality and soulful vox; things then take a grittier note in "One By One" - a straight up dancefloor cut. Finally, "Really Love" draws proceedings to a close, with lovely vocals from Keshia adding a final artistic flourish.

Review: Expect rolling, guitar-laden liquid D&B here from Eugenics Eight as they unleash "Creations" on Liquid Brilliants. The title track kicks things off with a flurry of beats, bass and swooning atmospheric sweeps. It's all gentle fluttering, bass murmuring, pattering drums and harmonious vocals billowing in the wind for the duration, before "No, No" takes over with its punchy drums, grinding bass, soulful and enticing vocal. A pleasure from start to finish.

Review: Expect unique vibes all the way here from Ambrela in the Rays Of Heat EP on Liquid Brilliants. The title track is all quirky bleeping melodies, whirring synths and rolling breaks with a moody b-line keeping things in line from below. It segues neatly into "Tormento", the next track on the EP, which builds from an experimental intro of trance-like synths and mournful chords into a pumping main part with razor sharp snares and bleep synthetic aesthetic. "The Feeling Of Flying" concludes the EP with a bellow of bass and synth belches.

Review: A compilation released just in time for February 14, this lush, lullaby like eight-track LP on Liquid Brilliants provides an array of sparkling melodies and lustrous liquid ballads guaranteed to fill your life with love for D&B. From Archelix's gently nuzzling breaks, whispering vocals and euphoric synths through the melancholic sounds of Beatchemist to the clapping "Girl Gone Bad" and Tim Cant's warm, fuzzy "Another World", it's all jolly lovely. Mayforms' "Get High" rounds things off with a flurry of instrumentals, polished breaks and cooing vox.

Review: A delightful four-track offering from Sapphire on Liquid Brilliants, featuring a couple of collabs with Ficci alongside original material and oodles of gentle, soulful vibes. First up is the eponymous track of the EP "The Next Day", all shimmering melodies, bleepy Rustie-like squiggles and blissed out atmospherics. Then there's "Snowdrop" with its beautiful, sonorous quality and delicate, deftly placed beats. Onwards to "Alpenglow", the first colllab with Ficci, which takes things on a more experimental journey before we go deep into the rabbit hole with "Human Sanctum" - a superb piece of music, reminiscent of Med School's Unquote.

Review: Ted Ganung conquers the weight of the world in this uplifting release on Liquid Brilliants. Shuffling drums, rolling beats and swooning vocals are in merry abundance in the title track, which features Dirty Genes and Mariella, and this one rolls along for the duration. Lovely stuff. "What Eyes Can't See" up next, is a bit more of a coy one, with quirky SFX, thumping drum kicks and a pumping Cyantific-style melody, which adds a turbo charge of energy to the piece and demands some dancefloor action. Compelling stuff here from Ted Ganung.

Review: Following on from his Brazilian Brilliants EP Mayforms steps up once more on the Snow In Brazil EP, introducing some collaborators along the way. He kicks off with the solo effort "Everyday", a wistful track with swooping strings and forlorn trumpets while Bass Division joins him on "It Embraces" a lively tune with uplifting vibes. Standout "Our Love" brings a male vocal and orchestral flourishes before he rounds things off by teaming up with Jand on "Come Back Go" a R&B influenced number which will put a smile on even the sternest face.

Review: Mournful and melancholy from the off, this release from Light Of The Night is one for the liquid heads. "Rain Tears", with its rom com connotations and cinematic intro, pairs piano keys in the minor key with rattling breaks, chopped up repeated vocal and yearning instrumentals. "Feel The Difference" (feat Hit n Run) is a deeper cut with bass, horns and a sense of enormity to the emotion. The eponymous track of the EP "Seconds Before Parting" juxtaposes bursts of energy with muffled vocal utterings and "Gray Smoke" rounds things off with gurgling SFX and twinkling melodies.
