Review: Next up then from the Liquid Brilliants team we have a fabulous array on display as Nichenka Zoryana arrives for a solid full length LP delivery, focussing primarily on garage and it's surrounding cousin genres. Featuring 13 originals, this is a collection that explores both the abstract and the centralised sounds of house and garage, with the project's first track 'Standartik House' being a quick window in the soul of the LP and what we can expect down the the listening line. It makes for a very interesting sonic journey, with the funk-infused sounds of 'Hinni Kell' giving us a colourful twist, next to both the shuffling moogy backdrops of 'Breaks Stroke' and glittering shimmers of 'Minimalogy' to really showcase how wide a spectrum we are working with. It's definitely worth taking in via it's long play format, with our highlights including the more unpredictable breaksy lines of 'Baby Funk' and the shuffling techy bleeps of 'Drezden', all working together to formulate a seriously buzzy original collection.
