Review: It takes a lot of balls to sample two of disco's all-time biggest floor fillers the way Dj's Nello Simioli and Peppe Black have on this debut release for LoudBit. But they pull it off in spectacular fashion, with Wonder taking well selected samples from Earth Wind and Fire's Boogie Wonderland and rearranging them into an incendiary dancefloor destroyer. With a steady 4/4 kick drum beating hard, they never over use the sample - just dipping into the vocals occasionally over some enormous builds. The Noferini and Marini mix is an even bigger rinse out, drawing out the EWF sample slowly through filters and working it into a huge crescendo. In The Disco repeats the same formula, this time with He's The Greatest Dancer by Sister Sledge. It's another big tune and loads of fun, even though the sample is so brief that it might not hit you straight away. Either way, it's still a guaranteed path to dancefloor glory as Simioli and Black work the Sister Sledge horns into a frenzied blur.
