Review: Introducing KUCKA! A hotly tipped, fresh and new artist to emerge in full debut form via LuckyMe. A Liverpool born vocalist and producer now residing in Australia - explaining something of her connection to the Future Classic label and Dro Carey - she now drops her first studio album. Synth heavy, bass inspired and vocal driven, Wrestling is certainly connected to a world of postmodern new age pop! A prime example being the '90s R&B motifs in "Afterparty" alongside deeper dancefloor connections in tracks like "Joyride" and "No Good For Me". Threading the album with a sequence of futuristic pop and fusion crossover in tracks like "Real", "Drowning" and "Ascension", KUCKA's debut, Wrestling, wins hands down.

Review: Dawn Chorus is the latest album from Jacques Greene and it marks a big shift in his production approach. While his previous work was sample-based, this new long player sees him team up with musicians and singers to create a more organic sound. This approach is really brought to life on the single "Do It Without You", where dusty break beats underpin dreamy vocals, while "Let Go", featuring Rochelle Jordan, is a sublime piece of electronic pop. Meanwhile, the Moodymann-esque, soulful vocal house of "For Love" is sure to seduce dancers at sun-kissed festivals - and demonstrates that Greene has really come of age as a producer.

Review: This terrific new EP from Inkke (who helms the label's monthly Rinse FM show) is inpsired by his time living between Glasgow and New York. With previous EPs on Red Bull Studio, Local Action and FWDK Mixtape, the producer known as Russell Paterson to his Mum serves up some impressive modern bass perspectives on the Lil Plasma EP. From the wonky offworld futurism of the title track, the hyperaware and stuttering groove of "Rome" (that's sure heavy enough on the low end) and the smacked out/spooky pulsations of "Incense" proving that Paterson is one of the most exciting talents in UK music at present.

Review: Montreal's Lunice and acclaimed producer The Alchemist link up for a collaborative EP for the Scottish LuckyMe imprint. It was created in conjunction with Red Bull for their BC One World Finals (in conjunction with Dutch streetwear brand Patta) that took place in Amsterdam. Although being two producers from different backgrounds, they worked together in order to create 'a unique soundscape for breakers and fans alike.' Moving Parts is a diverse, modern and engaged take on traditional break music for a new generation. From the modern drum & bass perspectives of "Pathwave" or "Suspended Animation" to the jagged and angular juke/footwork attempts like on "Revolutions Per Seconds" and the deep grime of "Clockwork", there's some stunning diversity on display. Recorded at the Red Bull Studios in Los Angeles and Amsterdam and commissioned for the world's best break dancers to dance to in the finals.

Summer Hate
Summer Hate - (3:09) 128 BPM
Review: LuckyMe Records present first release with acclaimed young producer Suicideyear: six fresh tracks recorded in his new home of New Orleans that showcase his continued development at the forefront of futurist hip hop production. Each track evolves in its own way, from the warmth of 'Summer Hate' through to the more club oriented "Mosh Mosh" and "Spent Days Watching Horses Die". The artist known otherwise as James Prudhomme hails from the home of No Limit records - Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His music is very much a product of his environment - the menacing sound of tuned 808 drums coupled with angst- ridden emotive synth work: inspired by listening to shoegaze and punk bands throughout his formative teenage years. First coming to attention via his split single with Kaytranada on Bromance in 2013, it led him to releasing the highly praised Remembrance EP on Oneohtrix Point Never's Software label soon after.

Feel Infinite (Bwana's 'I Felt Alive In 95' remix) - (7:45) 122 BPM
Fall (Baltra remix) - (5:18) 120 BPM Hot
Review: Not only does Jacques Greene constantly rack up some of the best, house-laden garage available on the streets, but he also seems to attract the finest of remixers to his catchy, UDG-friendly grooves. As always, he's waving the flag high for the Lucky Me imprint, and for good reason too given the qulity of this particular crew of producers who've decided to give him a hand reworking tunes from "Feel Infinite". Matthew Herbert leads the pack with his inimitably odd and leftfield strain of house music - this time in a comparatively more restrained style compared to some of his other productions - and retunes "To Say" beautifully, while Shlohmo does a good job of twisting "You See All My Light" into a growling, bass-heavy r&b monster. Bwana's 'I Felt Alive in 95' remix "Feel Infinite" takes a broken house beat and layers it with her own majestic vocals to make for a magnetic late night jam, and Baltra's version of "Fall" offers the most house-centric moment on here, a rough analog groove with a deep edge and an utterly seductive melodic wave.

You Can't Deny
You Can't Deny - (3:50) 63 BPM
Review: Although Canadian producer Jacques Greene lives far away from the UK, his music has been picked up by all the big players of the future bass sound, and aside from his extensive material for the Lucky Me imprint, he has appeared on covered and much respected stables such as Night Slugs and Jon Convex's 3024. He's back on the former this week with a one-track hybrid blaster, a tune by the name of "You Can't Deny". There is a four-to-the-floor best somewhere in its depths, but the track is propelled forwards by a thick, morphing bassline that shifts back and forth from electro house to garage. It's nothing but a summer anthem.

Review: We like it when an artist debuts with an album; it demonstrates an inherent confidence and a bursting desire to get one's point across, a clear and coherent idea demonstrated through music. Parc En Ciel are exactly that, and Glasgow's Lucky Me has taken them on in all their starry-eyed glory. Path Integral is a voyage album, ten shards of sonic experimentation that never stick too closely to one genre - or even subgenre, for that matter. Simply put, it's space music, a sort of new-age age that is played by tribes on Saturn. An interesting, wide-eyed release that is definitely worth a listen...or two.

Review: It's here, the man behind that track "Harlem Shake", now throws us a full length on Glasgow based imprint LuckyMe, but he's matured a lot since that infamous track. The trap poster boy explores a varied selection of beats and feats on Aa, we particularly enjoyed the collaborations on here such as the full frontal assault of "Day Ones" feat Novelist and Leikeli47, the sombre yet sexy street sound of "Way From Me" featuring Tirzah, the exotic bass heavy swagger of Temple featuring the return of MIA with G DRAGON and "Kung Fu" featuring Pusha T & Future's street knowledge: speaking some truth proper!

After Life After Party (Suicideyear remix) - (4:06) 86 BPM
After Life After Party (Sei A remix) - (6:12) 62 BPM
Review: Montreal's premier plush-stepper Jacques Greene is once again shoring his melodic tones up on LuckyMe island. This time around, "After Life After Party" takes you on a soaring, somewhat melancholic trip through rich swathes of yearning synth lines, making for a more reflective dancefloor moment that loses none of the punch and swagger. "1 4 Me" turns its focus inwards, using straining R&B vocal licks to offset the winsome chords for a truly autumnal slice of stepped club tackle. Suicideyear drop a slick and sugar-sweet electro take on "After Life After Party", while Sei A's version represents a more subtle and snaking kind of tech house confection rich with textures and tweaked-out sound effects.

Review: With his historic contribution to global culture "Harlem Shake" hanging over him, Baauer steps up with a new EP that shows off his talents across a wider spectrum of production duties. "One Touch" gets into a steamy R&B groove complete with vocals from no less than AlunaGeorge and Rae Sremmurd, before "Floreana" flips the script with a delirious, tropical inflected club cut. "Boog" works in some earthy Latin samples around a primal drum beat arrangement that speaks more to Baauer's reputation for attention-grabbing bass music, while "Swoopin" ramps the energy up with a thoroughly modern twist up of dubstep hype and trap swagger.

Review: Joseph Marinetti steps up to the LuckyMe ring with five tracks featuring the similarly confrontational qualities of the PC Music crew. "Ms. Telesales" moves like a free-party techno track after it's been dragged through a ball pit, while "Kenzo Lee" takes a more housey direction with a DX7 bassline offset by glistening lashings of twee day-glo synths. "Lipsync" too keeps the chirpy Mario World house tones in place, but it's on "3D Hentai Stud" that the really flamboyant and downright loony production traits come through.

Review: Having lingered on the fringes of contemporary electronic music for some time (reworking the likes of Kuedo and being part of the group American Men), this album on LuckyMe is the first fully fledged solo release to be offered up from the one known as Claude Speeed. My Skeleton is an ambient album through and through, although it feels fairer to call it a classical epic that reaches to electronic devices as much as orchestrations. Every track is rich in harmonic progression as towering swathes of synths, strings and the odd touch of textural noise build into hugely atmospheric, arresting pieces. Individually they make for compelling listening, but even as a full-length release Speeed keeps the mind locked in for the duration.

Feel What - (5:49)
Night Tracking - (4:12) Hot
Review: Back on LuckyMe for another round of R&B tinged beats from the next dimension, at this point Montreal's Jacques Greene is certainly a dab hand at matching forward-thinking production with accessible pop tropes. "No Excuse" centres on a heartfelt vocal hook, but all around it fall chunky found sound beats while winsome synths warble overhead. "Feel What" places its own vocal sample in a more distant reverb chamber, letting the snap of the broken beat drums take to the fore of the mix. "Night Tracking" is the more obviously club ready cut with its discernible house thrust, but even then the bewitching melodies spell out a more reflective purpose to this EP.

SWM - (5:14)
Review: With gorgeously lyrical melodies and swooning samples, "SWM" is a warm and fuzzy house cut pleasingly tampered with and smoothed out into a big, swell of progressive rhythms. Hypnotic ideas repeat in and out of focus as the gentle groove drives everything onwards just enough to keep things moving. Somewhat reminiscent of the glory days of Cafe Del Mar, Joseph Marinetti takes that chilled sound and whips it into something dancefloor-presentable. Still laid back, but with something to hold on to. Beautiful stuff.

Mute City (Joseph Marinetti remix) - (3:52) 67 BPM Hot
Review: Viennese drummer-turned-electronic musician, Cid Rim, has only just dropped his latest EP, Mute City, but here he's following it up with some new mixes of two of the single's lead tracks. "Extend Ranges" gets two new reworks with Mike Slott going all light, shiny and melodic, while Autre Ne Veut takes a more subdued RnB route, with slo-mo trap(ish) beats and contorted vocal samples, the moody atmospherics of which make for an EP highlight. Meanwhile "Mute City" gets taken to Detroit for some thoroughly warm deepness by Joseph Marinetti.

Review: Vienna's Cid Rim is an interesting new talent - a jazz drummer turned electronic producer. Here he follows his recent 'Micro' album with what's best described as a maxi single. "Fade" is an upbeat digi-fountain of fizz synth loveliness, "Animus: Anima" is the sound of crystalline electronic rain drops, the urgent "Mute City" takes things in a dancier direction, "Red Ocean" is like a cross between Led Zeppelin and Nathan Fake and finally "Extend Ranges" provides the release with a beatless coda.

Review: Having thoroughly re-established himself in the wave of re-appropriated juke on last years Rooms album, Machinedrum steps up with this rapid fire EP of sliced samples and R&B brightness. "SXLND" distils some serious auto-tune mangling into a broken rhythm, while "Van Vogue" captures the feel-good flavour of early nineties chart dance in a strange, understated soca groove. "DDD" is almost outright house music, albeit with plenty more snippets of vocal getting jiggy with each other, but the smooth shuffle is hard to resist despite its prevalence in these times. Machinedrum's versatility can't be argued with, but more impressive is how he maintains his sonic identity throughout. Highly recommended.

Opening with "Glow", Lunice essentially demonstrates his new found confidence at chopping drums amidst a choir of heavenly vocal harmonies and illustrious synth bombast. Alongside it "I See U" and is pure club tackle and a notable highlight, snapping through cavernous vocal stabs and shotgun snapping drums before introducing a Godzilla sized buzz synth thrusting with drunken glee. Elsewhere tracks such as "Bricks" and "Juice" immediately make you want to see Lunice live so you can fully appreciate the dextrous MPC manipulation that clearly went into its inception.

Review: Big things have been expected from Lunice since his first remixes slipped out on Big Dada and Top Billin' in 2009. Those who groove to the sounds of Mike Slott, Rustie, Hudson Mohawke and Nosaj Thing have been waiting patiently for a proper release from the Montreal based producer for too long! Props then to Luckyme, for delivering Stacker Upper, the 21 year-olds first official single release. Whilst nowhere near as far-out, experimental or genre re-defining as some of his LuckyMe contemporaries, Lunice still offers a fresh new twist on hip-hop. The real genius is the simplicity of his sound. Somehow, Lunice is able to make memorable, hum-able tunes with only a handful of elements. Take lead cut "Hitnames Anthem"; while little more than a beat, bassline and rising/falling keyboard melody, it sounds big. The same can be said of the bass bin-bothering "Hip Pop" or crunked out, analogue freakout "Purp Walk". Even the EP's most complex track - the wonderfully sweet and melodic "Fancy Forty" (backed, incidentally, by a great Rustie rework) - comes cloaked in Lunice's trademark production
