Review: Some proper space mutant discoid vibes on this Mad On The Moon release via Italian duo Ajello. Known to Italo disco edits freaks for their own Do The Job imprint, the duo of Luca Roccatagliati and Fabrizio Tavernelli have delivered a EP of bicep flexing arpeggiated monsters. Be prepared for the 2min 40 mark on the slow burning "2000 Light Years From Home", when Ajello go all BBC Radiophonic Workshop with some Martian synth action. DFA space cadet Altair Nouveau slows things down further on his remix, emphasising the synth wig out and adding a delightfully fuzzy bass line to proceedings. "Come Back" combines bubbling synths with snappy percussion and a glorious breakdown of washed out melody. Fellow Italians Hot On The Heels tighten things up and add some nice percussive elements on their remix.
