Review: Since making his debut a decade ago, Israeli producer Stephan Bazbaz has popped on a wide variety of labels. This, though, is the Tel Aviv-based artist's first outing on Madtech. He's got company, too. Opener "Wednesday" is a muscular, low-slung chunk of throbbing (and occasionally spacey) big room house made in cahoots with Sean Doron while Jonas Hassan collaboration "CINQ" sees watery, liquid synth lines ebb and flow around a shuffling, bass-heavy rhythm. Elsewhere, his tech-house influences get further exploration via the bouncy, two-step influenced wonkiness of "Morning Arps", while closing cut "Anguria" is the kind of driving slab of dancefloor wonkiness that sounds tremendous in the darkness at five in the morning.
