Review: Secret is a repackaged version of the Estonian duo's 2009 album, including a continuous mix, but attention to such details would mean little if the music was inferior. Thankfully, Rulers deliver a diverse and entertaining selection. "Look What Acid Does To People" is a tweaked out 303 ride, the title track cheekily features a bassline similar to that used on Slam's eternal "Positive Education" and the album also has no shortage of tribal workouts. However, the highlight in the originality stakes is the Nique take on "Fettle", which features a vocal intoning 'life', similar to the one that appeared on Leftfield's classic "Song of Life", over a dub techno backing, while the original version of "Fettle" is a reminder that when it comes to deep, techy house, few acts can match Rulers of the Deep.
