Review: We have been seriously digging last few releases from our Dutch friends at Flamingo, and they impress yet again on this latest EP from an exciting new talent in Scintilla. Blurring the line between tech house and progressive, 'One Step' is a rocking 7 minutes of percussive intricacy that will get any floor warmed up and shaking whatever time of night. On the flip 'Charging' goes down a deeper route with lots of quirky twists and a relentless energy you wont be able to stand still to. A pair of wicked jacking tracks to get the party started.

Review: Mistiquemusic come up trumps once again in the talent discovery stakes, as they present the intriguingly titled 'Secret Treasure Chest' from Polands Stardesign. A refreshing mix of deep and progressive built around an interesting chord progression, minor key drops, and plenty of atmospherics, twists, squeaks and bleeps. There is so much going on in the mix that as a listener you are taken from left to right, up and down, and thrown side to side. More standard and floor friendly mixes are provided by Loquai, and MSZ.. Although this isn't the most obvious tune to let rip on the floors, there is no doubt when you do there will be some head turning and a great reaction... Mix it up, and get stuck in!!

Review: The ever consistent Mistique Music continue to unearth promising talent, this time round in the form of Toronto based future hero MSZ. The Original of 'Air Under There' is very atmosphere led and due to this possibly not the most floor friendly, although the musicality and depth of production is to be admired. Making the most of the winning original elements are Deep Soul Duo, who bring in breakbeat fills and a nostalgic edge, while Timewave deliver a more formulated four to the floor cut.. Another solid release, well worth checking out!

Review: We are all well aware that dance music is a global force, with more and more international talent from far and wide emerging onto the scene. Here we have an exciting young Lithuanian duo Marius Paplauskas and Justinas Gritenas who present their latest (and biggest to date) single for Mistiquemusic. 'Earth' is a full-bodied progressive track with a hooky lead line and plenty of energy to lift the floor. There are some great remixes on offer with our personal pick being Loquais aptly penned 'Love The Deep' cut, adding a bubbling low end and air of mystery.. Look out for these guys in 2012.

Review: Poland's CJ Art returns to Mistiquemusic with more twisted and dark trance to perfectly soundtrack those smoke filled underground clubs and free party raves. The sparse arrangement, psy edged percussion and washy atmospherics carrying an old school spirit. While remixes from Matteo Monero and Ozgur Ozkan give it a cutting edge boost. Matteo's refix will have the most impact on the floors, while Ozgur's interpretation will be more suited to the early morning sun-rise... Try something different and check these out!

Review: Mistiquemusic do the damage once again with this cracking EP from Egyptian producer Hzaem Beltagui. Twisted progressive flavours across 4 tracks, all worthy of peaktime plays and with plenty of unique qualities to raise them above the parapet. Lead track 'Hello Goodbye' is our pick of the pack, as it carries a little more energy needed. In contrast 'Sara' and 'With Nothing Left To Say' are laid back emotive fillers which will set the tone early doors, or finish things up in those super late sets when you never want the night to end.. Get stuck into this lot!!

Review: Yet another stunning release from the Mistiquemusic label as Sebastian Garuti and Matias Chilano step behind the dials together to produce a chilled-back progressive track laced with melting melodies and finely tuned atmospheric layers. There are some great mixes on offer, all leaning on the gentle end of the spectrum with our favourite coming from CJ Art, who manages to capture the drama of a blockbuster disaster movie, while roughing up against a pumping kick drum and some acidy lines.. Psychowsky 'Alma Y Cuerpo' is also worth spinning for more peaktime moods.

Review: Mistique Music drop their latest artist album, coming from promising progressive talent Ejective. A wonderful 9 tracks covering the spectrum of prog and trance, with a super-slick soundscape and unique blend of airy melodies and pads. Title track 'Recurring Illusions' is a real highlight, while 'Future Unknwon', 'Will I Dream' and 'Sentient' also standing out. A wonderful introduction for the amazing price of L5.49, discover something knew and check this out.

Review: Turkish producer Ozgur Ozkan follows releases on the likes of; DeepSessions, Mestiza, and Dark Pleasure with this tripped out progressive 'Blur'. Perhaps one for the more educated and chilled floors, the arrangement is spacious and hypnotic making it an ideal fit for both twisted afterparties and to add an interesting turn to a club set. Paul Key and VG & Sullivan both bring more floor appeal on their respective cuts, so probably the best starting point for checking this out.

Review: Progressive and oceanic breakbeat/house from Italian producer Matteo Monero, who concentrates on swooping, icy soundscapes on "One Girl & Two Dogs". With Beloved/808 State/Auteche influences on show, MM keeps it all about the delicate textures, even though there's more than enough rhythm to make it a worker on the floor. Bobby Deep lives up to his name with a huge proggy extension of the single, while VG & Dave Sullivan incorporate some hot arpeggios into their glistening rework.

Review: UK 'one to watch' Innate, follows up releases on Method, Babylon, Blaubeat, and Wildchild with a deep and twisted prog roller for the ever consistent Baroque. As the title suggests, the original is the perfect fit for after hour parties, while the standout remix from Manuel De La Mare totally steals the show. With a seriously large dose of acid thrown in and more twists, builds, and drops then a stomach churning rollercoaster, it has a relentless energy that will whip any crowd up into a frenzy. If you want to cause some dance-floor destruction, then you need this weapon in the trunk.
