60 BPM Review: Time Travel is Asgeirsson's fourth studio album and sees him continue to explore the grey area between ambient, classical and electronic. Accordingly, "Time Travel (Theme 1)" and "Behind The Corridor Of My Childhood (Theme 2)" comprise wind chimes, strings and some scratchy abstract sounds, while "Reach Up & Touch The Ground (Theme 4)" and "The Infinite (Theme 11)" are reflective piano pieces. In places such as the rolling electro bass of "Slice (Theme 3)" or the loose break beats of "Nowhere Left (Theme 6)", the Icelandic artist puts a greater focus on electronic influences, but in the main the strength of Time Travel - as with previous Asgeirsson releases - lies in its strength to reside somewhere in the middle ground.
