Review: Following a string of solid rework releases for We Mean Disco, Discoalition, and Sound Exhibitions, Breixo returns home to Movierecords. As usual, the versions offered emphasize the grooves and musicality of his source material, whilst also beefing up the bottom end with some swinging house beats. He kicks things off with the bluesy disco-funk hustle of "Super Sporm (Edit)", making great use of the original's rubbery, low-slung bassline and guitar-laden disco groove. "All My Love (Edit Mix)" sounds like an instrumental re-rub of France Joli's "Get Over You" - admittedly with a few subtle differences, suggesting the source material is different - while "Give Me (Edit Club Mix)" is a deliciously loopy, but still pleasingly loose, disco-house chugger with an excellent build-and-release structure.
