Review: RSquared have only released a few EPs, but they have already made an impact. The duo's latest release on Muse shows why this is the case. The title track revolves around a lithe, rolling groove and is powered by a growling bass. RSquared add a celebratory disco sample to the arrangement, a combination that makes for a distinctive house track. "Dance Dance" is also focused on house music - this time the pair fuse dubbed out drums with a bass that is reminiscent of Harold Faltemeyers' "Axel F". Rounding off this fine release is the deeper "Fox". Melding sultry vocals with shiny synths, RSquared maintain a dance floor focus thanks to the use of deft filters and resonating kicks.
