Modulate
Modulate - (5:11) 125 BPM Hot
Pump - (3:57) 126 BPM
Review: Jack Beats return to Night Bass with two of the most prime cuts imaginable. "Modulate" is almost techno in its mindset as the stripped back groove bumps and flexes until a warped bassline worms its way into the mix rising, teasing and melting into the groove. "Pump" maintains the heat with depth plunge bass tones that spiral so low you'll feel the need to pull up your trousers. Arguably two of Jack Beats' best bangers since they emerged almost 10 years ago.

Body Work Prat 2
The Lean - (3:56) 125 BPM Hot
Formula 3000 - (4:18) 126 BPM
Review: It's kinda crazy to look back and see just how much music the Night Bass label put out between 2015 and the beginning of 2017. It's an unfathomable amount of releases for such a young label and, the thing is, it's all pretty damn hot, too! Jack Beats is the project from Niall Dailly and Ben Griffin, who are back with the second landing of the Body Work series, and kicking things off with a bit of a gangsta flex thanks to "The Lean", a cold-hearted London bombshell propelled into motion by some dutty grime vocals, and a menacing groove. "Formula3000" brings in Taiki Nulight for a bigger, badder flow of break-ridden, bass filth - just the sort we vibe to.

Body Work Part 1
Body Work - (5:24) 125 BPM
Mercury - (4:38) 125 BPM Hot
Review: London duo Jack Beats return for Los Angeles' Night Bass imprint which continues to go from strength to strength with some killer releases lately by the likes of Herve, AC Slater and Sinden. Getting straight down to business on the late night sleaze of the title track (which features the sickest slap funk bassline you'll hear this year) beneath an electric, neon lit arrangement. There is also "Mercury" which builds into a groovy bass-driven shuffle optimised for maximum dancefloor impact. As the label put it "This is Jack Beats at the top of their game" and we certainly agree.

Work It
Work It - (5:14) 125 BPM Hot
Intermission - (4:30) 125 BPM
Review: London's Jack Beats (aka Niall Dailly & Ben Geffin), are, if not quite wise old elders of the bassline scene, then certainly one of the genre's more established acts. Here they are back with a two pronged attack: "Work It" provides a deep acid bassline, a solid 4/4 groove and hip-house vocals whilst "Intermission" stands out with its combination of a rap vocal, heavy wobble bass and synthy atmospherics.
