Review: Kid Drama and DJ Trace have collaborated on a number of releases over recent years but no project has seen them go in as deep as they have on Nine Windows. Forged through a deep love of atmospheric jungle (the style which unfortunately developed the tag 'intelligent dnb') the pair get stuck in on such an authentic level you could swear it was 93 all over again. Featuring collabs with the decortated likes of Tim Reaper and Skream, the pair whip up a tsunami of emotions with sweeping pads, delicate orchestration, lush chord sequences and musicianship while never compromising on the weight, pace and power of the music.
