Telon - (6:06)
128 BPM Floating - (5:58) 125 BPM
Review: Seti is only Schneider's fourth release to date, but it shows that he has already developed an individualistic sound. Mastered by the legendary Chris McCormack, all of these tracks have a frazzled, distorted edge, even on the release's more reflective moments. "Floating" resounds to eerie, detuned synths and insistent back beats, while "Vermont" is a linear, repetitive groove, led by tough drums. Both are only a taster for what Schneider is capable of, and "Telon" sees him drop a tough techno groove, while the title track is all noisy broken beats and feedback drenched riffs. The Ansome remix drags the title track dragging and screaming onto the dance floor with a distorted kick drum.
