Review: Italy's Soel has appeared on top imprints such as Plangent Records, Afterlife, Siamese and TAU in recent times, which we've got to say is quite the roll call. Now the New York City-based DJ and producer has started his own imprint called Oracolo Records, with the Tellurian EP being the sophomore release which follows up his Ambrosia LP from last year. It features the brooding dancefloor drama of "Alphecca" which will make the hairs stand up on the back of your neck, and later receiving a dystopian style electro bass reinterpretation by Vril. The doom-laden greyscale intensity of "Axon" was another highlight, it too being remixed: this time by Roman hypnotic techno wunderkind Luigi Tozzi. He takes the track deep into the abyss on his tunneling and cerebral perspective.
